Yeah jojo is like a very annoying kid tv presenter and find him unwatchable. Kyle is a douche too but he isn't quite as annoying or hyper.I think he's just drawing it out longer so viewers feel compelled to come back for the update. Especially since he mentioned he's streaming on Halloween, the big news brings back viewers checking in today and tomorrow, and then they find out he's streaming the next day with his family on Halloween and say "wow, I HAVE to superchat to that!"
I think Jojo's views are lower because he's so loud and annoying during park vlogs. If people are subscribing because of the shorts, that format's fine in quick 10-15 second segments. But 15 minutes of "HELLO" at the top of his lungs to every cast member he sees - that gets old after half a vlog. The Paula Abdul vlogs were especially annoying. I only watch now if he has a guest that's fun or if he's visiting someplace not Disney related on a rare occasion.
I think his cruise videos were more tolerable because he was probably hungover and quieter when filming those.

Maybe, but the way he worded it in his vlog made it sound like whoever emailed him does not want him to reveal what it is just yet. I think it could be a sponsorship of some kind but we’ll see soon enough I guess. It still could be him just building anticipation for a media event.
I too find Jojo annoying, and his catchphrases, ‘goodmorning good afternoon goodnight guys’ and ‘HELLO, always making new friends’ get on my nerves
. I might be in the minority here but I actually quite like Kyle. But then I don’t let it bother me when he stumbles over his words occasionally or mispronounces other words. I find his personality a lot more likeable. I guess I won’t be welcome here now since you all seem to hate him a lot

I think he's grown a little more likeable the past few months on camera, I think vlogging with Patrick might have opened his perspective in a better way. Still feels off to me how he never seems to interact with any of his former DCP roommates; at least he's collaborating a little bit more with Jojo again.
I don't hate Kyle. I actually don't hate a lot of the vloggers, but they give us a lot of material to work with. I hate the Trackers and Michael Kay. I find PMM more pathetic than anything else. Kyle's dimwitted, but he's cunning enough to target a demographic with a lot of disposable income (my demographic), but as long as you know that he's a FinDom going in, just enjoy his malapropisms and word salad and his thirst-trap adjacent shirtless shots.
I also agree with this. I really do like Patrick, and some of his enthusiasm seems to have rubbed off on Kyle. Whether anything else rubbed off, well, that's for the slashfic.

You can absolutely tell this genuinely means the world to him, and I got to say, I’m really happy for him. He’s put a lot of hard work into his channel to grow it to where it is now. And he has some of the best fans as well, some of those gifts were just so well thought out, and well made in some cases. Am I in the wrong place? Haha he seems like he enjoys what he does, and that goes a long way with Disney vloggers, however the reason for the negativity toward him is that he along with all the people on the Disney bandwagon are running out of things to do and are all doing the same things yet he has nothing unique about what he does, and then he can be annoying at times not much as jojo but still, however that’s more of a personal thing against him. I think he is better than most other vloggers rn because you do feel a sense of being genuine.You can absolutely tell this genuinely means the world to him, and I got to say, I’m really happy for him. My joking about him needing to put out for a Galactic Starcruiser reservation aside, he seems legitimately touched by the stuff people sent. And honestly, it was kind of thoughtful stuff that wasn't super pricey. Others have done worse.
And yeah, he was clearly legitimately excited about whatever it is he's going to. And I honestly do think that's wonderful.

Can I just discuss JoJo for a second and the major success of his channel right now. I checked his social blade and he has literally had 2.5 million views overnight and has gained 2k subs quite quickly as a result. His potential earnings have also skyrocketed. And all of those views have come from his Star Wars lightsaber shorts.
It kind of feels wrong that this YouTube algorithm can majorly reward creators for the most low effort, frankly boring content. His daily vid views are pretty bad, especially in comparison to Kyles. At this point he may as well just be a short channel exclusively.

Kyle, jojo, all of the Disney vloggers do minimum effort. None of them put much effort into their videos. It's basic point and shoot and minimal editing. They all copy eachothers ideas, I mean good luck to them but creative they are not
My opinions about the general lazy editing aside (JoJo and Kyle at least make an effort to show the parks in addition to pointing the camera at themselves, as opposed to, say, MK ) I am...not exactly impressed, but I honestly do think Kyle accidentally made some of the best G+ content. Without meaning to (and probably even without realizing that he'd done it) he managed to semi-competently demonstrate when it's worth it and when it isn't. I'm curious to see if we get a touch more when his family comes, just because the Muggle experience has to be different than the AP one. Unless they are pass-holders, but that would still be useful, given that the experience is also going to be different versus the townies.
Yeah, for a while Kyle seemed to be going the same old "watch my weekly staycation/vacation" route; seems like now he's focusing a lot more on a genuine and relatable approach in the Genie + videos and standing himself apart from the other vloggers that are stuck in that "new updates/watch me eat things" content loop.
My biggest gripe with Kyle is how much he's fallen out with friends in the past - his vlogs with guests are more enjoyable, and so many of them made for his funnest vlogs when he was in the DCP. Hoping he's grown on from that, but I could see the media events getting to his head if he concentrates too much on them. When he's less collaborative with friends his motives feel less genuine to me, which is what he has going for him at the moment.
YouTube's really trying to build up their role for younger media viewers with the shorts, desperately trying to get a marketshare before TikTok has the chance to expand with a larger video platform. I don't think it's the best move for YouTube, but good on Jojo for being able to leverage his TikTok success for channel growth - it's going to be an interesting one to watch if/how he's able to get more engagement and views for his regular vlogs when all his growth has mostly come from shorts. He'll really need to change up his style for those if he's wants to make it work though.

Kyle’s last two videos have been a joy! He was so excited over his media announcement; and stalking his family at Pop actually made me chuckle. I know people get on him for his difficulty with words and grammar, but he mentioned not long ago that he has always struggled in that way. His videos are truly fun to watch when he isn’t pandering for free stuff!

The genie + even doing the collab challenge to see which was more worth while.
JoJo takes the shorts/TikTok seriously and set him apart from the rest with that.
