I find the view count interesting too since they both have 100K. Kyle's video today has 17K and Jojo riding everything at Epcot with no Genie only got 5.7 so far.

Again on both their newest videos. Kyles is 19k views and climbing. Jojos is around 6k. Definitely think Kyle has the more active daily viewers.

Yeah. Same here but it did make me wonder, ok he’s definitely been doing the camera thing for quite a while why does he seem less at ease and more clueless in front of it now.

There is definitely a market for a hot male disney vlogger. Kyle really isn't all that 'hot', just in the niche he is in he is as good as you get. If someone hotter comes along he is screwed

I feel in this awkward position too but a big part of it is the novelty of seeing his channel succeed over other vlogs that think they're some big gift.

Is Kyle annoying, begs frequently and acts like a child? Yes - but I'd take that 10 times out of 10 over the fake sheep tendencies of POS Dev and the neurotic sugar rush of the Trackers, Nate and Michael Kay any day.

But especially Dev - if things keep going how they're going, Kyle and JoJo will pass his sub totals in just a few months. Can you imagine the meltdown!? I live for it!

To get back on subject, I think his Genie vlogs, while not that well planned out, actually do a decent job showing the overall experience with genuine footage. He's made mistakes, but seeing those mistakes are more helpful so people know what not to do/how to not act like an idot.

I might just be desperate though. There's literally nobody else with decent content recently that's covering Genie strategies - feels like everyone else is just sucking Mickey's 50 year old balls.

Well said. It’s funny to have started to look forward to them over this last year for me. There is a “charm”. Having their friends in occasionally (especially as comfortable as JoJo is with them in his videos) gives us a rounded out supporting cast for all this awkwardness.

As a middle aged gay guy I can say that I fell for the Kyle gay baiting. It's the young, geeky, hairy chest thing. (I even followed dave kay for the same reason). I bought a jump around shirt, told him I loved it. No response. Bought another shirt from his other collection. Told him I really liked it. No response not even a thank you. Stopped watching. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Sorry man. That sucks to hear.

I’m just watching JoJo now and came here to update! It does seem like there’s a bit of competition between them…JoJo hit 100k, Kyle did a few days later. JoJo announced his media invite first when Kyle has been teasing it for a couple vlogs now. Their dynamic is interesting!

I’m glad some new people are being granted media access as well!

I think he's just drawing it out longer so viewers feel compelled to come back for the update. Especially since he mentioned he's streaming on Halloween, the big news brings back viewers checking in today and tomorrow, and then they find out he's streaming the next day with his family on Halloween and say "wow, I HAVE to superchat to that!"

I think Jojo's views are lower because he's so loud and annoying during park vlogs. If people are subscribing because of the shorts, that format's fine in quick 10-15 second segments. But 15 minutes of "HELLO" at the top of his lungs to every cast member he sees - that gets old after half a vlog. The Paula Abdul vlogs were especially annoying. I only watch now if he has a guest that's fun or if he's visiting someplace not Disney related on a rare occasion.

I think his cruise videos were more tolerable because he was probably hungover and quieter when filming those.
