This is made so much worse by the fact that she is a children’s nurse. Would she really be ok with somebody posting a picture of her treating a child on public social media (even if her face is obscured)?
From the nurses who have been part of my daughters care they wouldn't be pleased with it. We have regular nurses who we see every time and I wouldn't even think of taking pictures of them. As well as a specialist nurse and consultant who have been part of my daughters care since she was 10 weeks old and even if we ever did take a photo in a happy moment I wouldn't then post them online.
Oh the latest post takes the piss, such a posed fake picture it's unreal.

Either that or he doesn't dare say anything to her incase she throws a strop. He looks like he's turned away from her in that picture as if to say don't get me in it. Unless that's layla and she's kicked him out of the bed, she's gone home to rest let her sleep in her own bed, they obviously felt she'd be fine at home there's no need to sleep with her could do more damage by doing that too.
I'd of kicked my OH out the bed if either of my boys has the sniffles never mind a fracture that needs surgery. She was probably only allowed home cause shes a nurse. Im glad for Lyla, hospitals are scary and hard to sleep in.

Shes very much using a professional page as a personal page. If she does hit it big, shes gonna really struggle. I imagine she'll get loads worse too as the line between private and professional gets blurred.
I dont know why people feel complelled to post pics of poorly kids. Its beyond the relm my understanding. If my OH tried to take a photo of my kid while they were having their bones manipulated, they would be out of the room. If they posted it on social media- never mind a monitised page, theyd find a suitcase outside and the locks changed.
THIS. My son broke his leg over a weekend earlier this year. At A&E they suggested surgery was likely but he was eventually sent home in plaster. Went to the fracture clinic on the Monday and surgery wasn't required in the end.
Wouldn't surprise me if she goes into hospital tomorrow sees the Consultant and doesn't have an operation.....Sian can then Gram all she likes.....
That is what I hate about these accounts, they post something horrific is happening (which is wrong) and then goes about like business is normal, here is some fluffy disney stuff and a million links to make pennies.

I follow an account that dealt with something similar, but more serious, really well. They put up a post saying they had a serious incident in their private life, they were fine, but would be taking some time to process and would not be posting for a week or so. When people asked what had happened they just said it was personal and not related to the purpose of their page.
They restarted normal posts about a week later. Subsequently, a few months later, they briefly explained what had happened and then said that, as it wasn’t anything to do with the content of their account, they wouldn’t be discussing it further.
With Sian, Lyla injuring herself has absolutely nothing to do with the account (unless, god forbid, it stops them visiting Disney for the fourth time this year). So there really was no need to mention it at all, much less post intrusive photos of her being treated at hospital.
Arent they staying in an AllStar resort this time? Bet she's gonna hate it.

Yeah they said all star which in my never been to Disney mind but priced up a lot of holidays I can't afford seemed like a big step down for them but I thunk it was an impulse book as when she booked those flights in the summer she was saying next year and at center parcs they were talking about a cruise.
They will have used them up.
I was wrong: lots more photos, lots of details, and photos from inside hospital (including one with a member of staff visible in the background). Ridiculous.
Don't forget inappropriate jokes about ptsd and having plastic surgery before her. If her finger had been as bad as she's making out surely they wouldn't have waiting the weekend like they did else then be worried about loss of movement/feeling surely.

Couple of things though, praising Lyla for being a good girl always smiling isnt leaving her any room to feel anything else. I would wager that shes now trained to smile whenever a camera is shoved in her face.
