She is allowed her bubble, that’s fine and within the guidance I’m not disputing that. The point I’m making is that the bubbles are for childcare or support. I don’t think celebrating a birthday is for those purposes. I’m in a bubble with my mum but we didn’t celebrate new year or her birthday with her “because we could”.

There are two sets of bubbles. Childcare and support. Because she has a child under 1 she can have a support bubble.

If you have a childcare bubble, you should not be entering the home, having a cuppa or any type of socialisation. Drop off and collection of kids only.

No, you're wrong. A childcare bubble is for childcare. I have one with my mum and I don't go into her house. A support bubble you act as if you are one household.

Sorry I realise this has been said already 🤣 Yes it might be annoying but it is fully within the rules.

I didn’t realise there was an additional support and not childcare, that’s good to know. I certainly wouldn’t begrudge it with young kids.

End of the day the bottom line is she has been breaking rules since March 2020, add to that trips out here there and everywhere whilst pregnant and to various supermarkets and having a weekly delivery slot from Asda as Seaaaaaaaan wouldn’t do her shop to her standard when sent, yet she still took herself off to supermarkets to buy even more yoghurts etc then in the next breath she was then complaining that she was worried about Seaaaaaaaan picking up germs from ‘keyworkers kids’ (like they are lepers or something) so would prefer for him to be at home rather than work..............thing is Kate fast forward 2-3 years and your kids would need to be at school with you and Sean both being key workers so I am sure you wouldn’t be complaining about that but you would definitiely find something else to whinge about.
Her story a couple of weeks ago about ‘not having the maternity leave she wanted’ was ridiculous, like she’s the only one!
Kate, for the last 10-11 months people haven’t had the weddings / birthdays / funerals / holidays/ social interaction and leisure they would like, but they’ve had to get on with it and deal with the situation as best they can, whereas you have flouted rules time and time again (prior to support bubble being announced and after)

Only a few weeks ago, before lockdown, but during a time we were all asked not to travel out of our local areas, Kate and family (parents etc) decided to travel from Fleetwood to Kirkstone Pass in the Lakes so they could go sledging - so not only did she leave her area, she travelled up a notoriously bad road in the winter, to then go sledging, one of them could have quite easily been injured enough to need hospital care and probably need mountain rescue too. They’re an extremely selfish family.

Deviated a bit from the the subject of bubbles etc, but my point is, Kate couldn’t care less about the rules, or anyone else, so long as she is ok.

Not forgetting she actually had the luxury of a holiday last year which most didn’t.

But I’m pretty sure the bubble is advised not to meet socially. I have a bubble myself so understand the rules but we use it for support not celebrating birthdays.
Really hate to stick up for Jaffa but you can... it’s a support bubble so not just for childcare but for the maternal mothers well-being too. She’s well within guidance. I just had a baby and my HV advised me of this.

Households with an under 1 can form a support bubble with another household (not the same as a childcare bubble). This means the two households effectively become one household and can mix whenever they like (dinners, sleepovers etc). I don’t begrudge Kate bubbling with her parents when she’s got two young children and it feels petty to criticise her for it when it’s allowed; providing it’s an exclusive arrangement (which its supposed to be) 🤷‍♀️
I agree here as long as she isn’t taking the piss and seeing his family too then I can’t complain, I’m struggling with one baby let alone with a toddler thrown in

I had a newborn and a just turned 2 year old when we went into lockdown 1. I can’t tell you how much of a hit my mental health took, husband working and me alone with two babies day in day out. Spent everyday in pyjamas (not even all the fancy loungewear that everyone on Instagram was flaunting!) and sat weeping on the sofa literally all day😂 if I’d had a support bubble my maternity leave would have been a hell of a lot different and my mental health wouldn’t have taken such a hit. Really struggle to see how anyone can begrudge her seeing her mum when it’s allowed!

I feel ya, I had my 2nd baby 2 days into the first lockdown and I was so naive thinking it was only going to be for 3 weeks! Definitely been struggling this lockdown (think all my hope of a normal life has gone) and I’m so thankful I can bubble with my Mum, I just wish they’d brought this support bubble in earlier than September!

Shes made titty soap. I'm unfollowing!
I personally know Emma who makes ‘titty soap’. Her baby son Albie was still born last March and she wanted to donate her breast milk to babies in neonatal care that needed it. Every penny from every sale of her products goes to our local neonatal care centre In memory of her son.

Google the benefits of it to babies then comment back.

Did I say emma? Jaffa was making titty milk if you watch her story.

I was saying I know the lady that runs the company. If you’re taking the piss out of Kate for doing it, you’re taking the piss out of Emma who runs the company are you not?

The thing is with Jaffa and breastfeeding or her breast milk is that she shoves it down everyone’s throat, that’s what annoys me!

I have no issue with titty soap. I have an issue with Kate jumping on another bandwagon and I don’t for one second think she will use the soap she’s made a song and dance about making.
like SW, WW, CC, HDE, Veganism, all the tat in the girls bedroom, the face vibrator it’s just another look at me she isn’t actually interested in any of it

I think Kate needs to look into how many chia seeds you should feed a baby! That’s a ridiculous amount to put on her breakfast.
