Kayla still teaching us how to wash shoes for fifth or sixth year in a row, as if we aren't sufficient adults with basic housekeep knowledge or internet at our fingertips for help. That's one thing I've seen her be consistent with since before she birthed Arna. I should've compiled a safe folder with all the shoe washing videos I've seen her create by now. Content is running low and those double washers and dryers have to be shown off, I assume.

Looks like chocolate is on its way. Wonder if it will be full of hydrogenated oils masquerading as "health food" chocolate, much like how their hot chocolate is maltodextrin masquerading as "healthy" drinking powder. I will be surprised if someone who thinks Cadbury's is the height of chocolate prowess will be able to create anything people will go out of their way to buy more than once. View attachment 2695426

I don’t really understand the hate Leah and Mitch are getting for leaving Gigi at home. Sometimes parents having time to themselves helps them be better parents.

I have adult kids who I of course loved to holiday with but I also had the occasional adult long weekend away from them and they’ve grown up relatively normal, and we have an amazing relationship.

Back to the honeymoon, it seems completely chaotic, very unplanned with a lot of wasted time.
Difference is

1. you didn’t palm your kids of to Nannie’s , daycare and grandparents so you could ‘work’
2. You didn’t leave your new born in the special care unit so you could find sashimi and have a family dinner
3. You left for a weekend not a whole week in a completely different country
4. Anna and Jim are in the GC so Gigi is being left with a nanny

I don’t understand why Leah and Mitch ‘second home USA’ are even going to LA. LA is not a ‘second home’ place to visit it is a tourist destination and they have spent the entire time at tourist places. The rest of LA is actually awful and really sad, so much homelessness and poverty there. They are absolutely clueless about anything America.

I actually have family in America , their homes in California are like my second homes. Going to Aunty Linda’s house for spaghetti and staying with Aunty Patty are such special memories to me. That is what a second home is. Not going to a few hot tourist spots in LA and buying some junk food in Walmart. It is the equivalent of saying you love Melbourne because you spent 3 days shopping at Melbourne central and ate some nice Subway on Bourke Street.

I might be in the minority but he's not attractive to me in the slightest. The only thing he has going for him is the colour of his eyes. They're beady as fuck though and the rest of him is nothing special either.
Nope agree with you. Nothing attractive about him. Find him creepy and weedy. So many icks about him

It broke my heart how disinterested Mitch was in what Leah had to show him that she got for Gigi. She was genuinely excited to get back and see Gigi. It really cemented that he is only with her for the money her name will get him, and everything else is just a burden he has to carry as a sacrifice.
I know we always talk about her leaving Gigi when she was born, but I 110% believe Mitch convinced her to leave her there so he could keep living his best life uninterrupted. If she had actually been with someone supportive, I genuinely don’t think for a second that she would have left Gigi. I know she said she couldn’t be there, but I feel it was all stuff he put in to her head.

The leg is out for Leah

P.s I really don’t know how anyone can attend this wedding and not cringe because of the circumstances of how they got together. Yuck it’s all I can think about.

Imagine working on yourself and your partner not noticing/not bothering to hype you and tell you how well you’re doing and good you’re looking. And when you have to ask them for a compliment, they don’t even know what to say.
Leah, go find yourself someone who loves you for you, not for your name and money.
Mitch ain’t it. Ick.
Came here to say the same thing. Like, way to objectify Leah also. She seems so much happier, she will be happier if she loses another 90 odd kg too (aka Mitch) I actually think she’d be a good single mum with the help of her family.

It's also a bit weird to meet up with the boys. Let him have one fucking afternoon. Although, I guess if I met my partner the way she did, paranoia would be strong, yeah?

Leah has said numerous times she’s unhappy with how her body has changed following the birth of Gigi. I can relate to feeling uncomfortable and heavy and missing my “old body” . If Leah’s like me this would have been a big deal to wear a fun print like that, instead of the usual black activewear. Kayla is a bitch to her sister. Personally I liked Leah’s outfit and good on her for wearing something bright.

Honestly I think it’s okay for Leah to be upset (she’ll get over it) and it’s also okay for her and Mitch to leave Gigi for 7 day she’ll be fine too. Parent and children being apart for 7 days will have zero impact on her emotional wellbeing and will probably will have a positive impact in Leah’s.

Having said that, going to the US for 7 days seems a bit weird, you’d barely land and it’ll be time to come home.
It’s fine to be upset but these clowns have done nothing but leave their child in the care of everyone else since she was born and haven’t seemed to care in the slightest before. She gets left with grandparents, then a nanny, she goes to daycare so they can “work”. They would leave their weeks old baby to go on date nights. Go for a honeymoon, absolutely, but don’t get on social media and sook about having to leave your child when she was literally in NICU and they didn’t even visit her then.

It’s an Australian thing hens. I refer to it as that as does everyone I know. What I find funny is she doesn’t need to drink to have fun yet can’t get pumped for events because she doesn’t drink hahaha. Also rocking the sunnies that she never wore until this one time.

Has Leah been banished from cooking for Christmas this year after she gave everyone food poisoning last year? Wouldn’t touch anything she makes with a 10 foot pole.

I suspect that my opinion is guided by my dislike of the commercialisation of marriage and weddings, but I actually really loved pretty much everything about the wedding (except the groom😂😂). I love that they did their own thing and bucked a lot of ( dated, nonsensical, society enforced) wedding conventions.

I thought that her dress was simple and elegant; I loved the backyard wedding concept; I loved that she looked so joyous.

IMO, it’s in stark contrast to the overblown surprise engagement party that Tobi threw - Kayla looks like a deer in the headlights; uncomfortable and overwhelmed in the videos of that event.

And that Enza stepped in and basically said “leave it to me; I’ve got this” I think is pretty awesome - organising a Wedding is stressful - and the pressure of feeling like you have to try to meet the expectations of family, friends and society, in general, is enormous.,

So - I know that it’s an unpopular opinion here, but bravo to them for just getting on with it, and having a big celebration and party rather than some ridiculously overblown event.

They invited their bloody builder 🤣🤣🤣🤣 tell me you have no friends without telling me you have no friends
SO EMBARRASSING their only friends are on their payroll. Even the one that organized her whole wedding, I thought oh that’s nice, a good friend. NOPE her PA! Your PA is your employee not a friend lol
