Yes very true. She must have met the criteria for needing a transplant or else she wouldn't have been on the list in the first place. They obviously thought it would improve her quality of life enough to be worth the risk/cost. It would be a shame if she doesn't get through it to be honest, would be a waste of a lung. In that respect I hope she recovers.

I don't think anyone knows for sure why it was dropped. Police said lack of evidence. It wouldn't help if he did it and she wouldn't say. The assault also got downgraded to a lesser charge too.

My niece works in wedding planning in LA, it's commonplace there for celebs to get all the stuff for their weddings for free in return for a mention. Kim Kardashian did it when she married Kris Humphries, and all the people who supplied her with stuff were very pissed off when she filed for divorce after 72 days! Clearly the wedding was just for the TV show and they got played!C4 probably blagged it themselves Those makeover programmes approach suppliers and contractors asking if they'd "like to contribute to this show" with a mention at the end for services/goods rendered. My friend has a lighting company who were approached by a film company for some specialist lighting rigs that they wanted to use in a sci-fi film (one with Matt Damon a couple of years ago) - she supplied the stuff and was paid , however if she had wanted publicity in the credits at the end it would have cost her! Fanx but no fanx
Now for some of those shows where they makeover places for a Good Cause then fine - I can see why a company might want to contribute - but tarting up the woman's brothel for it? duck off!!

Yeah know but this is Kipper who also claimed 6 men raped her and then backtracked, she's accused Kieran of similar and she has no qualms about reporting people to police for very little. I would say she's prone to flights of fancy .... She has a history of going ballistic when men dump her and has admitted to self-harm on various occasions. She was also pissed at the time she said those things to whoever else. There has to be a reason why police didn't just take her statement at the time and charge based on that.

They were both out drinking and probably drugged up aswell Helena,,, when the incident happened skank has said it was sink boy so plods arrested him on suspicion and after questioning they've released him under investigation, that's when they've gone back to skank and asked her to make a formal statement (under oath) and press charges skanks refused that's why the CPS said " no realistic chance of conviction" they knew without skanks statement and being a witness in court they didn't have enough evidence because it was all hearsay regarding ambulance and doctors, if skank got on the witness stand all she had to say is " i didn't say that" and case dismissed.
I absolutely couldn’t agree with your post more! 100% well saidThis makes my blood boil - there are so many families in abject poverty right now that would benefit from a home-makeover. Veterans, carers, people on the absolute breadline. There was a recent story of a 2 year old who DIED because his home was riddled with mould. THESE are the people who Channel 4 should be directing their money towards rather than someone who has had it all, spent it all, owes it all and who is so entitled, won't even appreciate the finished result. I give it four months before it's an absolute tit-tip again.
I despair of this so called "celebrity culture" where everything is expected for free and nothing is earned decently.
