Part or me thinks she must have some kind of MH problem because nobody in their right mind would behave the way she does - she’s devoid of any emotion - including maternal instinct. There is definitely something not wired right there, on top of that she clearly has some kind of learning difficulty - she’s selfish, manipulative, spiteful and takes no responsibility for herself. Whatever it is that’s wrong with her - a few weeks in The Priory isn’t going to sort it, she needs sectioning.

Yes 'anti social personality disorder', there is no emotional attachment to anyone, even her kids, she doesn't follow any rules and is extremely impulsive - these are all symptoms. I think she has this possibly mixed with other personality disorders. People with these disorders never believe they are the problem and claim to have depression, PTSD ( whatevs) because they can't understand the consequences of terrible things they put themselves through is down to their own choice and how they treat others.
Yes it's not depression, or anxiety or something most people can more easily sympathise with but it's still a mental issue. She is still responsible for her criminality though. She won't get sectioned as she is not psychotic ( at the moment), that's a whole other kettle of haddock.
