I love cats but got into the habit of rescuing them when living abroad. A lot of them didn't last long... but they are all remembered. Squeak is FrenchAwww, I'm sorry
I had a very special cat too, he died at 18 last November, cannot believe he got to that age, any cats I had in my childhood never lasted too long.
We have several farm cats but one special one who I allow indoors now, but she's much more aloof than my old friend. She's super super ugly, I mean unbelievably so, honestly she could go viral.
