I was trying to find an edit someone made of Kate and came across this. It’s pretty brutal and presumably by people who bullied her in school.

I feel like therapy would really help her deal with any trauma from school and help her get over her fear of people in their 20s.

I actually feel shit for her reading this.

Its no wonder she's how she is. Bullied at school, weirdly religious parents and only hanging out with old people.

I've thought about this too. Her age-mates will be reminiscing about Beyonce and Taylor Swift while she's the last person left still listening to Barry Manilow and Tony Bennett.

If she's comfortable with these pensioners and they're true friends then good for her, but I hope she doesn't look back and think she wasted her youth.

100%. They shouldn't put that kind of pressure on her, nor should she put any pressure on herself to have a child because of her parents' ages. Not sure if this is a crazy idea but she could try to get a job at a nursery or volunteer at an after-school club instead. It should be something she's able to do since there would be some other staff members there too, plus it would only require a college childcare qualification that the nursery could organise for her to do?

Re: jobs and volunteering for Kate, I've also thought she'd be very well suited to volunteering in care homes, given her obvious love of old people.

I've got a friend who works in social care, and they're always understaffed. I believe that Kate probably wouldn't be eligible to be a full carer, as I think it requires a level of physicality (i.e. to lift or move patients on beds and accompany them to the toilet etc) that she doesn't have. However, I'm sure she could do voluntary shifts as a visitor to talk to them and entertain them.

She sort of does this with the Bowls Club, but I'd imagine those OAPs still have some independence, whereas those in care homes are more restricted and probably welcome more outside interaction.

Not poor Matthew getting the blame. Kate, the problem isn't that he puts entire albums on there in case someone has a particularly unusual request. It's that people are requesting well-known artists but since you spend all day surrounded by the almost dead you can't identify which songs most people like.

Going to a friend's 90th birthday party does make me feel a bit sad for her. Socialising with pensioners is better than not socialising at all, but it doesn't compare to having friends your own age.

But how is she going to fix Tony and Dot's computer when she can't even make a poster in Microsoft Word may I ask?

I’m thinking back to some of her ‘spend the morning with me’ type vlogs she does. Literally just stood brushing her teeth then looking at the camera before turning it off. Zero editing nothing. Iconic.

and the best bit is that she thought this was what content creators do and she should've gotten paid for that. God I miss her tiktok grifter era, it lasted about 10 hours but it was just so iconic. We were robbed of glorious cringe Kate content.

Showing her influences again....way back in the 80's/90's, before she was born (as per usual) there used to be an advert for Cadbury's Crunchie that said "Thank Crunchie, it's Friday!" which I think she's trying to reference here?
