Reliving the whole Mugginsgate saga makes me realise how wild it was for some Kate King fan to ring up her bowls club posing as a journalist to get Muggins to dish the dirt on her . Like WHAT ?!

Has she been telling everyone at the bowls club that she’s some big celebrity because didn’t Muggins stop and think how bizarre it was someone wanted to run a story on whether or not Kate’s trial period as deputy manager of the bowls club had been extended or not?! Like have Chris and Mandy this whole time been thinking they’ve been sharing a bowling green with Aylesbury’s answer to Angelina Jolie?

I assume Kate knows about the leaked phone call. Has she ever said what her opinions on it are? Do we think Muggins will ever make a return? So many questions.

A phrase she's absorbed from her mates - 89 year olds for whom making it through another week genuinely is something to marvel at.

For the past half hour I’ve gone down a Kate King wormhole and stumbled across this video on her YouTube channel



She’s explaining how she got into radio via a Zoom meeting to a gaggling horde of OAPs. I have to say her ability to talk and fill those awkward pauses between each statement that she makes is quite remarkable. She didn’t stop talking for the entire duration of a nearly twenty minute Zoom meeting. I’m unaware if she was reading from a script she’s drafted but nevertheless, she’s got good communication skills which would look good on any CV. It was actually quite interesting to listen to. I had no idea that she originally was going to go on a radio course with the BBC before lockdown happened. She’s also met Ken Bruce and Tony Blackburn due to her presence on hospital radio.

Her latest tik tok has me howling. Wishing some bloke a happy 90th birthday - apparently him and his wife wrote to Kate after listening to her radio show and asked to be her friend??? She’s an absolute pensioner magnet isn’t she?!

I never understand why she does these happy birthday posts on Instagram and TikTok to people aged 80+. It's not like they're going to see it.

She says seeing the colour yellow makes her eyes hurt but almost the entire downstairs of her house is painted yellow?
