What's the new channel called? And the new channel is stillborn.
Careful what you say, you might trigger another mental health video.Well, his remorse over queerbaiting was short lived.
The mental gymnastics he went through to explain why the "Am I gay?" video wasn't clickbaiting his sexuality, just to release a "Here is why I clickbait" video a few days later.Well, his remorse over queerbaiting was short lived.
If he has another crisis, my going rate is $350 an hour. Unless it's JoJo or Kyle, where I tack on another $150 as an annoyance fee.Careful what you say, you might trigger another mental health video.
I actually thought he was getting pretty good when he had that daily vlogging kick a few months ago, but you can tell the grind of slowly building up an audience was too much for him. Now it's either just clickbait, getting drunk with friends or venting. I haven't really enjoyed many of his videos lately outside of his Disneyland trip and I agree you're starting to see the negative side of him.The mask is starting to slip with jojo. His arrogance and entitlement is seeping through, and his frustration with his lack of views and earnings. It's getting clearer he is here for the money and that's it, he doesn't enjoy it or do it for the fun of vlogging.
Love how he calls out "trolls" on underperforming videos. He is so desperate to get that quick cash grab now before things change and/or the flood gates open up with other creators. No way he can survive if he has to depend on creativity. He has already beaten that sword gimmick into the dirt.Thing is, he's not exactly wrong. He drives traffic to YouTube, he should get compensated.
I'm not defending the quality of his videos, but for good or ill, some of them do get tons of clicks.Love how he calls out "trolls" on underperforming videos. They chose the career. Not like they are being forced to be content creators. People that view YouTube videos are YouTube’s customers. Youtube, Tiktok, and Meta hold all the cards and they know it.But he is getting paid for it. Youtube shorts won't be earning youtube as much either as they don't have the ads associated with them like full videos do. The entitlement of content creators on social media platforms is astounding. They are making money, and setting up businesses off the back of others work and creativity (youtube itself and in his case disney). Very minimal set up costs, regulations and liabilities. Most business start ups would love such a set up. Have very little sympathy when they moaning about algorithm changes etc, set up a business in the real world and see how hard and expensive it is
Also, let's not pretend people are joining youtube to see him pulling swords from a stone. It's just a disposable 30 sec clip that is as easily forgotten and watched by people already browsing. This is further evidenced by the fact all his other views are so low.
If that was the case, then people and CM who are unwillingly in his videos deserve a cut too.No matter what I think of him, or the entire notion of vlogging as a career, he deserves to get cut in on the money YouTube is making.
Was it JoJo or his illustrious roommate ScubaIf that was the case, then people and CM who are unwillingly in his videos deserve a cut too.
