Yes, he’s very immature. He doesn’t have a clue about the real world. That’s the problem with all these self-absorbed freaks who live in the Disney bubble.

I love being in the bubble when I go to Disney for two weeks, but it’s really dangerous to live like that constantly. All of the vloggers have totally lost touch with reality. All they do is go to the parks, spy on what videos their competitors are putting out, and look at Tattle and social media. Day in, day out. It’s bound to be sending them mad.
We know people who live near some of these influencers inside the bubble. They are getting very tired of the entitlement of the vloggers. Day in and day out having experiences ruined or having to be within an earshot of these grifters annoys them.

It's going to be a minute before I spend money in Florida again, but there's a non-zero chance than when next I'm there, or if I'm at Disneyland and see any vlogger who isn't Patrick, I'm either going to start blasting an air horn or copyrighted music.

Yeah! I can’t believe Disney is letting them take over the parks and resorts!

There is only so much Disney can control. The only way it will stop is if they really do something stupid (see Jete) and get banned or if people just unfollow/stop watching. The people really have the power in this scenario. It's all about how they choose to use this power.

I think a bigger issue might be if a vlogger causes another guest to get hurt. If it starts impacting Disney’s bottom line, they’ll stop it quickly.

Decided to watch the Epcot 40th video. He starts talking about how there’s minimal damage in the park, then cuts to a segment he added later recognizing the huge losses suffered in SWFL. He says he filmed something in the park but “it got corrupted.” Pretty sure he didn’t film anything…but at least he had the awareness to look back at the footage while editing and take a second to mention thoughts for all of the devastation.

Also pretty sure Ordinary Adventures would have rather been anywhere else than waiting in the merch line with him..

A JoJo story:

As I have mentioned before, I was a member of JoJo's Patreon, and I'm mentioned a number of times in his videos in regard to P.O. Box packages. I never asked for anything, because it's my nature not to, but in September of last year, in response to an incident in one of his videos in which he had planned to but was unable to go to Boma, I suggested on Patreon messaging that if he wanted to, he could join me for my ADR at Boma on 9/30 or 10/3. I was going to WDW for the 50th and had booked reservations for those two days and I stated that I would be glad to sponsor him doing a review of reopened buffet there. I had expected that he would politely decline or be non-committal, so I was pleasantly surprised when he responded eleven days later with, "Okay cool! That would be awesome I think I should be available". However, it wasn't a commitment and I would have been fine if he backed out for any reason. On 9/28, I tried to confirm if we were still on or not. He replied, "And on 10/3 could potentially Dan join? I’m not sure yet if I can just cause of the 50th anniversary". So again, that would be fine if he found he couldn't go.

On 9/30, he sent a message a little after 11am asking the dinner time, but unfortunately, while I was at Epcot that day, I had trouble checking Patreon messages. Apparently, it wasn't showing me any new messages. Since I didn't see any message from JoJo, I interpreted it that he wasn't going to join me that day and as a result I planned not to go to Boma myself. I finally saw a little before 4pm what he sent earlier and I replied with 5:05pm as the time. Since I didn't know if he would see it and come or not, I hightailed it from World Showcase to my car in the parking lot and then on Boma. He didn't show and I sadly accepted it as terrible bad luck.

On 10/1, the 50th anniversary, I saw JoJo at MK at spoke to him and asked him if he would be joining me on 10/3. He was non-committal, which made me sad if it wasn't going to happen, but I accepted that it was a busy time for him and it would be understandable. He told me that either way, he would let me know. On a side note, it was the third time I had met JoJo in person when he was not on the clock working for Disney and the third time I would have had the opportunity to be included in his vlog. When JoJo introduces people in his vlog, he first asks them if they would be okay with being in the vlog. He never asked me. By the third time, I realized I must not meet the visual standards of his vlog.

So then on 10/3, I had not heard any reply from JoJo about Boma, but since that meant he might show up, I went there and sat in the DAK lobby and watched the doors to see if he would show up, which he didn't. Being stood up is awful, especially for me. Really awful.

Here's the kicker. I finally get a message on 10/7, four days later, stating, "hey john sorry I got caught up with family matters". That was the complete message. We all know how he uses the "family issues" and there's no mention of rescheduling for a future trip. What was painful for me was that a person, any person, would think of me as being so insignificant that I didn't deserve a timely response and the minimum respect that would be given to any stranger on the street. Considering that JoJo records encounters with random strangers, I could see him on his vlogs respecting them, but for me, nothing.

When JoJo and Mel broke up at the end of the month, it was a terrible situation for what happened to Mel, but the timing was good for me, because it proved that it wasn't just me, that he would treat his gf bad also.

The Boma incident was the final straw for me.

You would think that by now these vloggers would come up with better ideas for Patreon perks.
Speaking of perks, I want point out the "Includes Discord benefits" that is stated under each of the Patreon tiers. It began when a Discord chat room was set up a week after JoJo started his Patreon in November, 2019. The invite to join was sent only to JoJo's Patreon members. It was a "benefit" because it was only the patrons on it and it provided a place where they could converse in chat with each other and with JoJo. There was good participation for the first two months, but then it dropped off to next to nothing, largely because JoJo rarely posted anything and that was the main draw of the Discord. Activity picked up in February, 2021, when JoJo came back on and he stated that the wanted to get the Discord running again. On March 11th, JoJo posted an announcement out of the blue that more people would be joining. It turned out that JoJo publicly posted an invite on Instagram and TikTok, allowing anyone to join in and thus reducing the Patreon exclusivity "benefit" to zero.

The kicker though is that there was a college student who had recently become a Patreon member and had apparently volunteered to be the admin for a rejuvenated and enlarged "JoJo's World" Discord server. It was clear he spent a lot of time on it, adding a bunch of channels to it, covering a lot of Disney and non-Disney topics. JoJo indicated that he hoped that it would be a large successful community of his supporters as well as general Disney lovers. Well, the key to success for a Discord server named "JoJo's World" is of course to have JoJo there. However, JoJo apparently got bored with the endeavor, and despite all the hard work of the admin, walked away from posting. Consequently, others stopped too. There were a handful people who communicated among themselves for a little while longer, but the server became effectively dead. Still, the lie that there is an actual "Discord benefit" associated with the Patreon membership continues to be stated on the tiers. Another example of how JoJo feels no sense of responsibility to do what he says, to be honest, or to follow through.

Looks like he switched out his Pop Century damaged sign clickbait thumbnail after getting called out. Please tell me someone saved a screenshot with the video title.

Here's the weasel's original, creative Photoshop work for all to enjoy just as he originally intended!

I'm sorry he didn't value your time but this is the problem with putting these vloggers on a pedestal in the first place. Strip away the youtube fame and he's just your average 20-something, but because people enjoy some of his videos or find him attractive they start to offer him things. Same with his buddy Kyle. They know if they pass up your invitation there will be someone else to make a different one immediately after. And even if he did join you for dinner it wouldn't have made you friends. That would have been the end of that transaction. So I wish people would stop making these offers in the first place without it taking getting burnt to come to their senses.
