Whatever this says about me, I don’t think JoJo deserves the same level of scorn that Kyle is getting.

The thumbnail was bad, and talking about how much fun people at the Poly were having was utterly tone deaf, but taking a room and food away from people who needed it, jumping around in puddles while wearing swim goggles…that’s just so much worse.

A JoJo story:

As I have mentioned before, I was a member of JoJo's Patreon, and I'm mentioned a number of times in his videos in regard to P.O. Box packages. I never asked for anything, because it's my nature not to, but in September of last year, in response to an incident in one of his videos in which he had planned to but was unable to go to Boma, I suggested on Patreon messaging that if he wanted to, he could join me for my ADR at Boma on 9/30 or 10/3. I was going to WDW for the 50th and had booked reservations for those two days and I stated that I would be glad to sponsor him doing a review of reopened buffet there. I had expected that he would politely decline or be non-committal, so I was pleasantly surprised when he responded eleven days later with, "Okay cool! That would be awesome I think I should be available". However, it wasn't a commitment and I would have been fine if he backed out for any reason. On 9/28, I tried to confirm if we were still on or not. He replied, "And on 10/3 could potentially Dan join? I’m not sure yet if I can just cause of the 50th anniversary". So again, that would be fine if he found he couldn't go.

On 9/30, he sent a message a little after 11am asking the dinner time, but unfortunately, while I was at Epcot that day, I had trouble checking Patreon messages. Apparently, it wasn't showing me any new messages. Since I didn't see any message from JoJo, I interpreted it that he wasn't going to join me that day and as a result I planned not to go to Boma myself. I finally saw a little before 4pm what he sent earlier and I replied with 5:05pm as the time. Since I didn't know if he would see it and come or not, I hightailed it from World Showcase to my car in the parking lot and then on Boma. He didn't show and I sadly accepted it as terrible bad luck.

On 10/1, the 50th anniversary, I saw JoJo at MK at spoke to him and asked him if he would be joining me on 10/3. He was non-committal, which made me sad if it wasn't going to happen, but I accepted that it was a busy time for him and it would be understandable. He told me that either way, he would let me know. On a side note, it was the third time I had met JoJo in person when he was not on the clock working for Disney and the third time I would have had the opportunity to be included in his vlog. When JoJo introduces people in his vlog, he first asks them if they would be okay with being in the vlog. He never asked me. By the third time, I realized I must not meet the visual standards of his vlog.

So then on 10/3, I had not heard any reply from JoJo about Boma, but since that meant he might show up, I went there and sat in the DAK lobby and watched the doors to see if he would show up, which he didn't. Being stood up is awful, especially for me. Really awful.

Here's the kicker. I finally get a message on 10/7, four days later, stating, "hey john sorry I got caught up with family matters". That was the complete message. We all know how he uses the "family issues" and there's no mention of rescheduling for a future trip. What was painful for me was that a person, any person, would think of me as being so insignificant that I didn't deserve a timely response and the minimum respect that would be given to any stranger on the street. Considering that JoJo records encounters with random strangers, I could see him on his vlogs respecting them, but for me, nothing.

When JoJo and Mel broke up at the end of the month, it was a terrible situation for what happened to Mel, but the timing was good for me, because it proved that it wasn't just me, that he would treat his gf bad also.

The Boma incident was the final straw for me.

You know what REALLY does not help the stigma surrounding mental health? When people fuck up, and instead of owning it, claim that the backlash is unfounded and harming their mental well-being.

This shit is why mental illness is still so scoffed at in the year of our lord 2022.

Very reminiscent of Kyle’s horrible depressive episode that was cured in one afternoon by a gifted massage at the GF spa.

Fellow tattlers, if you are struggling mentally…you are valid, your journey is real, and there are people who understand and take it seriously. Unlike vloggers who weaponize it in the name of views.

My thing with Jojo is that he had a whole day to see how Kyle and Tom were getting critized and still decided to do what he did.

IS HE A FRICKING MORON!?

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF ISOLATION? YOU LIVE IN AN APARTMENT COMPLEX, IF SHE HAS IT TOO WHY IS SHE DRIVING THERE?

Merry Christmas everyone btw, I need coffee lmaoooo. :ROFLMAO:

WORD FOR WORD QUOTE: "Cat has Covid too, don't worry!"

Is this what the world is coming to!? Wooot, hit us up at the Covid party!

AND HOW ARE THE VIEWERS SO HAPPY ABOUT IT TOO!? I'm at a loss, that's at a Tracker Stan Delusional level. 😬

Kyle is so much more worse, I rather watch annoying than the Covid liar Kyle is. Claiming he never left the apartment even after he's caught, deleting all the comments calling him out. Jojo went out which also stupid but he at least said he was going to do it in the vlog instead of what Kyle did.

I was this close to sending JoJo a Superchat in a foreign currency using my VPN. I wanted something with a crappy exchange rate so it looked impressive but really wasn't. I had decided to sent 1000 Hungarian forints, which is about $3, but I realize I don't hate JoJo that much, and will save the trick for Kyle's next live.

Poor Jojo and his pathetic little sob-story! He says he doesn’t like the way certain articles are portraying him - they’re just commenting on your videos, the content you just said you “stand by.”

And he compared what he does with his clickbait to what the news does, you know, professional media. Except he doesn’t make the same amount of money, “but it’s not about making millions.” No, you just said it was about making enough to pay your rent, insurance, and to buy groceries.

He said that disgusting cracked Pop Century sign thumbnail was just him “having fun.” He didn’t even realize he could add cracks on his thumbnail. Literally missed the point of all the criticism- you shouldn’t be treating a devastating hurricane as a bit of fun. That thumbnail made a mockery of the actual damage!

Jojo, like every vlogger, could be volunteering to help clean up after the storm. People are even travelling from other states to help. But, these scummy vloggers only care about charity when they get something in return. That’s why they latch on to Give Kids the World, because they have media events every so often. They wouldn’t even consider helping people affected by the hurricane because they won’t get anything in return.

It’s really remarkable to me how my opinions on JoJo and Kyle have completely inverted in the past 6 months. I’m not saying I think JoJo is any less fake than Kyle, but at least he doesn’t have the bitterness. Or he’s better at hiding it at least.

JoJo’s having a live premiere at 10 am on a weekday. Talk about being out of touch with reality.

I’m saying these two things with all sincerity:

1) Whatever it cost Disney to have JoJo #hosted for Oogie Boogie Bash, they got their money’s worth. He really made the event look like a lot of fun and worth the extra cost.

2) I’m admiring his current work ethic. He had two separate events yesterday, managed to edit and post the early morning one the same day, and had the evening one ready to drop the following morning.

Kyle, you wanna get sponsored and hosted? You need to be taking notes.

“We all had Covid from each other”

Can a college graduate really be that stupid? It didn’t spontaneously generate from within the apartment and then circulate through them.

“which we handled responsibly”

JoJo is so used to saying things that aren’t true and getting away with it that he has no problem lying even in the face of the evidence.

Can we talk about Patrick's cute twink friend who was on the Wish with him and also was at the party with our JoJo?
Jojo said all of them are going to be with him in the upcoming Los Angeles vlogs, so you're in luck.

Yes I agree, also jojo is an acquired taste. He might be watchable for a short, but putting up with him for 20 mins is a different matter.

He also doesn't seem to have anything besides the sword in the stone, it's a gimmick that worked and he hasn't gone beyond that.

Kyle, for all his problems, is a much more passive and calmer presence on camera. If you don't look into him too much then he is more watchable
I feel like Jojo is most watchable when he has sidekicks; the vlogs can be incredibly boring when it is just him. I like how drunk Dan called him out for not compensating him in any way even though Jojo keeps bringing him to Disney for views.

For me personally, I get tired of Kyle's constant privileged whining.

JoJo is an example of how people use toxic positivity to enable poor choices. Instead of seeing where he needs to accept accountability, he instead says people are bullying or spreading hate. Toxic positivity is gross.
