So, we just got to Penrith and I told RLF not to take the turn in and to head up to the a69. RLF told me he knows better and now we’re lost…
Would you take the advice of someone who’s been doing journey since they were 5, or someone that’s drove it a handful of times?
All I can say is …men 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

You're not misremembering, the spreadsheet is correct ❤

Yeah, ADs are a short term fix at best. A couple of weeks or a little more to get them into my system, if I'm lucky a month or so of being good and happy and functioning and efficient, but I can't keep it there and it gets out of hand.

Need to register with a new GP so I can feel a bit safer going to them. Then need to make an appointment for the depression. Exhausted thinking about it.

Don't know about a psych referral. I'm scared.
I've struggled with treatment-resistant depression and anxiety for over 20 years and I've tried over a dozen different medications or combinations of multiple medications, from both GPs and psychiatrists. GPs would only prescribe SSRIs and SNRIs and finally a very very good psychiatrist put me on an MAOI and lithium when I was in a very very deep depression and that combo helped a lot.

After finally doing pharmacogenetic testing (Genesight) a couple years ago it turns out that there are only about 6 antidepressants that work with my genetic profile and the way I metabolize drugs. None of them are SSRIs, and only 2 of the drugs I had been on were on the list, which in hindsight explains a lot.

Not sure if the genetic testing is an option for you, but I do think for treatment-resistant depression if you can see a psychiatrist rather than a GP, that's worth a try, unless your GP is pretty knowledgeable about more "advanced" treatments and various types of augmentation. In the US, they are generally not.

And of course, talk therapy has been invaluable but getting on the right medications has made the most difference for me.

I hope you feel better soon. ♥

Right, work smart, not hard.

Spinach and ricotta tortelloni, arrabiatta sauce. Not pictured: pint of orange squash.

Pasta from a packet, sauce from a tub. Cooked in 5 mins, minimal washing up, and it made 2 portions so one now, the other in the fridge for a no-effort cold lunch tomorrow.

Yes I had pasta yesterday. No this is not ideal. But therapist says eating something is better than eating nothing so I'm going with that.
If you’re not eating a lot pasta is good anyway. Least you’re getting something in you sweetie 💖

Oh my god, that bread pudding! I'm gonna have to look for some dupe recipes.

Bread pudding is one of my favorite desserts and Hummingbird Cake (pineapple, banana, coconut) is one of my favorite kinds of cake and this is like the most beautiful love child of those. 😍

Evening all

Sorry for being awol… again.

@Violetroselily I know you’re meant to be moving in with me and RLF, but can I just move down to live with you so I can have cinnamon all the time?

that video of bae is ridiculous.
That is pure bae porn without seeing any skin. The black tee, the blue jeans. His looks to off camera. His smile. His teeth.

i just want to get rattled senseless by him.

@Gossgossgoss9888
I’m so proud of you. I know it’s the first steps, but that was a massive hurdle you got over today. We’ll forever be your cheerleaders when you need it. Take care xx

Just as proof I haven’t been shagging any centre backs at SGP today, here’s what’s happened since I finished work…
A little autumn walk

And then chickpea and spinach curry for tea

It’s not bad at all. Totally understandable. It’s more of a novelty for me I suppose.

Good morning, lovely. Have you recovered from the match? :)
Still can’t talk, but obviously a godsend for RLF.
Up to do my chores that I haven’t done with being away 😞 first load of washing is in now. Are you ok?

I'm going to have it on in the background but have loads of tidying and cleaning to do so I won't be glued to the TV. Also can't imagine many people with little ones at home will be sat inside all day watching it 🙃 I bet the parks will be busy as nowhere is open
I’ll be doing the same. I’m an emotional sod too, so watching it will just mean I’m puffy eyed tomorrow. The silence, national anthem and applause at the match was really emotive.

How are you? Did you get home all right?
Yay, I hope you enjoy. It’s a bit lame, but… it’s been a weekend. 🥺
Has work been awful?
Got home about half 9. Had a meat platter and wine and watched some tv before crashing. Back is quite bad, so despite probably still needing sleep, I’m up 🤣
I thought LF was cute! Shows the full team and isn’t just about bae and Soph. It’s given depth to the story - you should be proud.

Babe you don't need all of this just to read tattle
He doesn’t, Kyle reads it for him and does dramatic re-enactments. 😂

I wouldn’t have taken him for a Gamer, but, why not? Soph would totally take over this to work on her graphics, doodles and presentations.

Also, why is this set up in a room full of boxes? Sort your house out, mate… 😂😂😂

I need to get up to date with this, it is gold.

Although I don't think I need to think about Dec pulling out 🤮
I hated myself yesterday when I saw him, because of that drunken day in Mexico when I thought he was fit.

he was running round like a headless chicken and I thought he was grotesque… now this 🤢 and I haven’t even read the fic

Agreed. He gave us lots of wank material and new thread material. What a man.

My favorite is “it’s just a good cake, innit” because it was SO wholesome and I love when people say innit but it’s not a thread title, just my selfish little fav.
I really don't like chocolate cake and I fear this is the deal breaker.
