Sending alot of emails is not a clue
I imagine you’re some bad ass boss witch and you visit the sites to make the minions feel uncomfortable

Work rant:
The coworker I mentioned earlier must have had a stroke or concussion or bad trip or something last weekend because all week he has been doing very dumb things and having massive confusion about basic things like calendar event scheduling like he went from a healthy and bright 30 year old to an 85 year old with mild dementia.
But at least he is reliable about one thing he usually does: replying to ONLY the sender of an email that is sent to both of us about the work we do as a team. He's apologized for doing this several times in the past but this morning we got one of those emails about a very urgent matter. I was about to reply to the sender when I thought "hmm, no, coworker probably replied and didn't include me, better ask him on Teams chat if he replied."
Aaaand of course he did reply but not to all, as usual. So I pointedly asked him to please remember to reply all in these situations and now I can't tell if he's being genuine or taking the piss. Probably genuine, he's a good guy, I'm just sensitive and annoyed and probably coming off like a witch but im just trying to be concise, not placate a baby man. It's 2022, we don't do that anymore in the workplace, ladies!
But I'm WFH on a different high priority project today so he gets to deal with this minor emergency on Monday while I'm lounging on the beach

Friday afternoon calls should absolutely not be allowed
Agree!! Where I used to work we had like a big process to do every Friday at lunch time and every afternoon it was endless calls and emails and impromptu meetings .. I hated it!

In my last job we had a weekly mandatory project review from 2-4 on Friday which was basically a public flogging and you could never get out of it. It was AWFUL.

🫤We used to have a Friday 'drinks' during the pandemic at my old job. It was, the worst. At 4:30pm on a Friday, nobody wants to be on a zoom talking to their colleagues.
It’s the worst isn’t it!! I used to work in Payroll and it was just constant questions all afternoon and then calls and it wouldn’t stop, and then we’d get the emails saying “if you get 5 can you call me” and it would be like an hour just explaining the same things every week!!
She’s all cosy in her bed now! this was them the other day …
Oh my old company tried doing that!! They would do like happy hour and catch up … I didn’t want to socialise with most of them during my work hours let alone my own time!
