I also immediately thought it's all very well Marley having a full face helmet but he has no body protection!

I hate the way he brings his kids up. There’s no charm about the way he parents. He’s just mega trashy, but with money.

I read that Guardian article earlier and the way the journalist captures JW’s patter is uncanny - but also JW really comes across as fuelled by Colombia’s finest. Not saying he is, but duck me, if it doesn’t come across that way. Irritating little bleep.

That road bike he was showing off on his stories this morning costs the best part of 10k. Talk about living in the real world

He’s had it for years, was a big song and dance on his stories when he got it. Blowing the dust off it trying to pretend he’s mark cavendish (who’s also another massive twit so no surprise they’re friends)
---
He’s also changed his tune a bit, he used to say 20 mins was all you needed to get fit and lose weight, now it’s enough to make you feel energised and motivated to do more….doesn’t even believe his own bullshit anymore

Yeah, Joe and Mark Cavendish are both basically walking egos.
Just knew he'd be dusting off the bike again after yesterday. He last dusted off to do that triathlon, was it late last year, where he did embarrassingly badly. He's so all the gear, no idea isn't he?!
He has no endurance training as everything is short sharp bursts with his training style.

He really embodies ‘full kit wanker’ not just with the bike but as a way of life. Mark cavendish has had a bad one 😂😂😂. I actually don’t mind him but I work on the IoM and he seems to be absolutely hated there!

Joe is going to one of my friends primary school next week. She's shared the message from school, it says Joe loves to share on his social media so they all need to fill in a consent form. If you don't consent you have to take part in a different area which won't be covered by cameras. Poor vulnerable kids who can't be on social media, made to be on the sidelines rather than freely join in.

What a tit. I'd be keeping my kid home that day 🤣

What a way to highlight the kids that aren't allowed to be photographed!! There are kids in every school I'm sure but there is no need for anyone other than the staff working there to know who they are!

My husband did some filming for a local school and he just had a teacher with him who mentioned where to film and where to miss. He had no idea which children didn't have permission and didn't need to which is how it should be!

'Joe loves to share on his social media' 🤮

Joe needs to stop using children to further his own interests and Jesus complex!

That's so inappropriate making some of the kids stand in a separate area! Can't the camera just be on Joe? Or does the public need to see the adoring faces of primary school children doing burpees to get the 'message' across?

‘Joe loves to share on his social media’ is the understatement of the century 😂

Oh yes, Joe just loves sharing on social media. So if you're adopted or fostered and can't be on social media, we will just segregate you from the rest of the children. Just to give you an extra kicking. 🙄

I wouldn’t sign the permission slip, I wouldn’t want my children to be splashed all over his Instagram for millions to see.

Does anyone think his visit to Indie‘s school to do a HIIT workout was a direct response to the tattler who knows someone at the school & posted about Joe not getting involved with the school at all, turning up late & not interacting with any other parents? We all know he reads here!

Family run- fine, great idea. But why is indie in plastic sandals not trainers like her brother?!

She probably doesn't have any. Too many heels.

Also her eye rolls when he was talking were GOLD 😂

Her hair is maddening. They make zero effort whatsoever.

Funny how the HIIT at Indies school wasn't plastered all over his social media? Yet the state schools he's visited have been!

Going back to the Home schooling...I Home educate mine and can promise they get a lot of socialisation, to the point we have to cut back sometimes to get any formal learning done. We have sports days, we have end of year shows, we have proms and Home ed dances and parties. We go on home ed holidays, forest schools, workshops, there are even home ed residentials. We have the majority of things people say our kids might 'miss out on'.

I very much doubt he is going to have the time and commitment needed to become part of the Home ed community though! My days are spent going from one thing to another, making sure groups are running, paying for groups, researching other things they can do, field trips, lesson plans. I don't see how he's going to have the time for that, for making sure she can forge friendships with other children, if he's also going to be going from one place to another as much as he does .

Home ed does have its place, and I seriously eye roll every time I hear 'but what about socialisation?' yet I can't see how this will work. If you are going to do Home ed, you have to accept it is going to be a full time job, and for a lot of people, on top of a paid one.

Ps I only joined tattle recently while reading the bbc presenter thread but then came across this. I'm finding it very hard to put my phone down!

I think that's the point. Home Education is brilliant but it takes a lot of commitment and engagement.

Joe and Rosie will not join a home ed community. They will not be prioritising or researching anything.
They'll be shoved some workbooks he's bought off Amazon and he'll pat himself on the back for a job well done 🙄

They just want the freedom from terms and compulsory school attendance so they can jet off as and when they like. They're not home educating, they're just tapping out of school.

Also, welcome 😄

You sound like you are doing home ed exactly right. This is how it should be - a clear structure, socialisation and a strong network of other home educators. I think you are amazing, I absolutely could not do what you do!

Joe just wants to go on holidays whenever he wants and have his feral kids roaming around the streets like Dickensian urchins with matted hair and no shoes. He’ll occasionally chuck a workbook at Indie and pat himself on the back for doing a great job at educating. There will be no socialisation with other children outside of their family.
