She wasn't amused because they couldn't get hold of Charlies grandad , that's what started the convo off , his grandad being a bit deaf had left the housephone off the hook and nobody could get hold of him Charlies dad had to go down there , she said there's always something with old people
The cheek of her moaning about Charlie‘s Grandad, she really does resent anyone that might need Charlie‘s time and attention doesn’t she?! apparently she is yeah! She's has dropped subtle hints (like a brick wall subtle) about her 'special day' and this miserable existence of hers called 'wife life'. She's only gone and ate all her wedding cake to herself so there's not much reminiscence of the big fat day to capture
