Mad how different their dynamic used to be. I remember watching one of her old vlogs back when she was at uni, he was hardly in her videos and she used to sometimes mention her “boyfriend”, he always seemed quite reluctant to be in the videos and she definitely called the shots. This is exactly my point, it's toxic as duck - I don't think you should talk disrespectfully about your parter but it's totally normal to want to air out a situation with a third party and share how you're feeling. My ex did this too and it makes you feel trapped and if they're constantly telling you that they were in the right and you're not talking about it with anyone to hear a different perspective then of course you start believing that!! It's very concerning hearing them say that even as a couple they don't have close friends, they should have their own close friends then friends that they see as a couple too

I know most people here hate on James but I’ve been watching Carys and their couples channel for years and to me, I can’t even understand how Carys got into uni, especially not for maths. She comes across as she’s trying to portray the typical blonde stereotype and has to rely on James for any information even about her own life. I’m not a fan of either of them but from when James used to make the occasional appearance in the channel to them having a couples one now, that James is a lot more relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera so he makes these uncomfortable jokes which they might not think much of, or find funny, but from the outside look like red flags
I know the filter she has put on is blurry but non of her face is blurry in that area, plus there’s some weird dip bit going on so defo photoshopped
