I can see lots of doctor surgeries getting bombarded tomorrow with people asking for mot’s because they have health anxiety He really should have said that he paid for it privately for piece of mind because there’s lots of people asking if he got it on the nhs therefore they’ll be disappointed when they find out it’s not available to them

This country & the NHS is on its knees and reading some of the comments on his post saying ‘this should be available to everyone every year’ WTF! For every one person that has genuine concerns about their health & should be seen there will be another ten like this tosser who are hypochondriacs and are never away from their gp for the silliest of things He has created a monster with this post, all in the name of him getting attention & sympathy

Do you know what annoys me about this health check, I had extreme health anxiety about a decade ago (I still do but it’s managed and I handle it)

I remember saying to my counsellor that I wanted a full body scan as then I’d feel better, and he said why tho? You’d only know you were healthy to that day, but what about the next day, weeks or following months? Unless you do them constantly it’s not going to help you.

And to me what he said made so much sense. Not saying it can’t reassure you and it’s not good to have a check up, but I feel this is a very irresponsible message.

and I’m not on about people who have a genuine concern. I mean people like me who have an aneurysm one minute and a stomach ulcer the next.

Totally agree with you . I have family and friends that are waiting for MRI scans with worrying symptoms . I have a friend who was told for months and months that they couldn’t see a specialist due to covid …. Eventually got a scan and had a brain tumour .

Posing smiling before a MRI is such bad taste right now !!

I bet he has spent or been gifted well over 2 grand recently on MRI ear syringing / checks . Physio chiropractors ENT appointments massages .

I see the trip to santorini is a pre-honeymoon They’re getting married in the Uk then going to santorini for 5 days, then having the wedding of the year in Ibiza, then the official honeymoon in the Maldives Who the duck could be bothered with all that tit? If you’re getting married in the uk just go off on your honeymoon and be done with it rather than have a big show off day in Ibiza ffs! I feel like yanking that gown off him. He has a stupid self satisfied face . He knows there is nothing wrong with him as he has been reassured a few times recently. I had an MRI about 6 years ago as they wanted to be sure I didn’t have sarcoma cancer. Luckily it was a benign lipoma.

This is all just for attention. I truly believe he wants them to find something, he's got bloody Munchausens. There's bugger all wrong with him but he's desperate to find something. Attention seeking fool.

Gps will be inundated with requests for MRI referrals today on the back of this, health anxiety is so debilitating for so many people and he's presented this as a solution which other people will see as essential now to ease their fears. It's so disingenuous of him. He has had one recently (which I'm assuming was clear otherwise we would definitely have know from his IG).

And how he can pose for a photo is completely beyond me. When my child had an MRI I was completely and utterly terrified about the procedure and what they might find, posting on sm was the last thing on my mind. He will go to any lengths for attention

The backlog and strain on health services is huge. Jake may have gone private but his posts are encouraging others to request the same 'health checks' which could cause some of his followers to waste GP time requesting they be referred for checks/scans too.

He is so selfish, self absorbed and irresponsible. Thank goodness he doesn't have a high profile or posts like this could be disastrous.
