Can I just say the Rees Mogg sproggs look awful peely wally in those pale gray uniforms. A nicer colour would be better and more fun. We had red, purple and turquoise as part of our non posh primary school. Jack has no right to complain about their brass plate when her nails have been filthy for months!

The first thing I thought when I saw that black eye picture was eyeshadow. The top of her browbone looks like there is gold shadow on it. I know swollen skin goes taut and shiny, but that is one black eye that positively shimmers! I also found it odd how her eye is creasing at the outer corner. Mine does that if I'm deliberately winking or squinting. It didn't go like that when I had an eye infection and swelled up - it just went slack. And her eyelid/browbone don't look swollen anyway, it looks exactly the same as the eye on the other side, only with added luminosity.

Also, I looked further down in the replies and someone has posted a shot of a black eye injury they had. It looks far worse than Jack's (so fair warning to anyone a bit squeamish) and the swelling has nothing like the shinyness that Jack's does.
