further proof that she wanted to be famous, plain and simple. no great big plan to save the poor from themselves. she just got lucky after trying her hand at countless other things. i'm surprised she never went on big brother.
Always sing/shout this to the tune of Dreadlock Holiday by 10CC. I DONT LIKE CRICKET etcThat’s NOT her FANNY!
My guess: she decided she should be put on the management fast track within a week of starting and the manager intimated that she wasn’t yet a suitable candidate. When she doubled down, the manager had to be a bit firmer in saying she wasn’t ready. When she insisted, the manager had to be less subtle and suggested she just get on with the job she was employed for.Why would a supermarket manger frequently tell an employee they’d never amount to anything? I don’t believe for one moment that Borbora told Jack she was only good for flipping burgers, but at least teachers are meant to have a certain amount of vested interest in their pupils futures. There’s no earthly reason why a supermarket manager would care about the career prospects of one of their (many) employees. All they’re going to care about is the employee turning up on time and doing the job they’re being paid for, which it is doubtful Jack did.
NO NO NO NO NO NOwhen I went back to look for the SPITE-stare screenshots, I encountered this horror show from late Feb 2021 also immortalized by @Silver Linings
On the (only) plus side, for those of you particularly affronted by Jack’s “curries” she’s an equal opportunity destroyer of all “foreign” foods.
If you’re going in for the first time, or if you’ve been here before but have mercifully put it out of your mind be WARNED: Lots of slop, lots of brown, also the words “mushrooms boiled then fried in mayonnaise”.

No.She can't exist next to another human without morphing into them, can she?
I bet the last thing poor Alan expected was to be Single White Femaled by Jack.
Also, I've never been to Greenbelt, but it seems unlikely that she would have to cook for everyone watching? What a load of shit she chats. I've only seen 1 person with a crowd as big outside the tent as in and that was that prick Frankie Boyle at V. A much bigger name and a much bigger festival. She's always the main character isn't she. God striking down the generator so no one had to eat her slop is surely a modern day parting of the red sea though.
I can't remember where I saw this but I can't get over her saying she has 12 (?) years in the hospitality industry?! When?
As we’ve established secondary is only more common in the southern end of England (maybe also Wales, not sure if we’ve had anyone from Wales chime in) not the whole of the UK. So Jack should still be using it being as she’s from Southend but it’s not an Americanism particularly. Maybe her next incarnation is Northern Jack… tales of how she used to binge in the rovers return and called herself Jack as a tribute to Jack Duckworth incoming!Fair point tenderstem. I'd have thought calling it 'blad de blah high school' OR 'my secondary school' would have been more usual though, as it's the name of the school, whilst still being a secondary/ grammar school in the UK.
And despite having 4 autistic (diagnosed!)/ SEN kids, two of whom are in specialist placements, I have to say I have never once referred to an educational psychologist as an 'ed psych'. Maybe it's more common among professionals in the field? Or maybe I'm just not cool enough. 🥲

Can confirm (at least for S.Wales) that I went to ‘Watermelon’ High School but it was always referred to as the secondary. As we’ve established secondary is only more common in the southern end of England (maybe also Wales, not sure if we’ve had anyone from Wales chime in) not the whole of the UK. Leggy suits her Sammy Davis Jnr at the weekend clobber cos she's comfy in her own skin and knows who she is. Guest on the other hand looks like the landowner dropping round for a sherry with the tenant farmers circa 1972.No.
No.

I guess s/he said something along the lines of "if you can't even show up on time and do your job now, I worry for your future in the real world", and in typical JM fashion, guest turned it into an eternal grudge...Why would a supermarket manger frequently tell an employee they’d never amount to anything? I don’t believe for one moment that Borbora told Jack she was only good for flipping burgers, but at least teachers are meant to have a certain amount of vested interest in their pupils futures.
