Hold on, if the past two years’ timing is anything to go by, shouldn’t the nightmare narc twit be off somewhere ruining her son’s Dad’s holiday with his kids, and deliberately trying to stir tit to upset his ex-wife right around now? Blended family anyways gets on my bits. No slight to blended families though. Its Guest's nasty attempt to oust and anger SB's step-mum. Even her own family keep her at arms length. She's not really part of any family in the normal sense. The only thing about blended that she understands is slop.

Remember that model that called Jack out for her 'portrait mode' nonsense? Was she called Ariel Anderssen? If so she has an article in the guardian today.

I had the thought this evening, "I think she's done." At least in this iteration. Out with a whimper. Shrinking audience, shrinking influence. As for where her money's coming from, I'm guessing she's living off a combo of Patreon funds (maybe 300 or so people, maybe 3 - 4k a month?) and occasional handouts from her parents. She'll never make an effort to get a job, and she'll probably never need to. Hopefully her son won't have to spend much time with her for the next few years. She may try on a few more public identities, but I don't think any of them will stick. Only thing we know for sure is that she'll never stop lying. She can't. It's all she has. "What a world, what a world."

Thanks for all the laughs, Aunty Pat! See you 'round the holidays now and then, maybe?

Her goose is cooked, as they say.

BIB Very possibly neither. It is a known phenomenon in the history of the world, evolution etc, that sometimes an idea just "has its time" ie will be simultaneously developed in different regions/ by different individuals and an innovation will suddenly just "pop up" as though magically in several areas, or by several persons at once - in these modern times there then often is a race to be the first to "patent" an idea/ product.

It comes about because conditions and existing technology/ products/ apparent demands have reached a stage where they are stimulating very similar ideas in the clever minds of creative people each other. - especially when those people communicate widely andd their thoughts and ideas bounce off .

Do I think that That Man and Nadiya could independently have developed this concept. Hell, yes!

Do I think that guset could have independently developed this concept? Hell, no!

Both super cheap and super simple. (Also sounds super delicious!)

She complicates everything.
Quoting myself like a ninny to apologise for the confusion above - I see the half a sentence migrated to the wrong place. Abject apologies for not picking it up before posting.

If she's not getting attention online, then the local newspaper had better brace itself for a massive influx of complaining letters about fire safety regulations, school dinners, hairdressers, prices of basic foodstuffs, Ebil Tories, the declining quality of sideboard construction nowadays - everything really - from a military adjacent ex-firefighter with a marxist-leninist bent and a pack of felt-tips in every colour of the rainbow.

And then brace themselves for a deluge of complaints when they don't publish the letters.

14 pages behind, owing to having a life (Jack could never). The more you reflect on that Guardian article about her being an alcoholic and how at 7days she’s focussed on work, sleeping better etc, the more truly unbelievable and irresponsible it was to publish.
The NHS website talks about how to withdraw safely if you have been drinking >20 units per day; Jack’s bottle and a half of whiskey per day is more than doubly that. She claims she just stopped.
And after a week, her skin was looking better, she’s glowing etc etc.
If her claim was true, she wouldn’t even be out of the withdrawal stage yet, surely?

We all know how much of a liar she is, but the Guardian should NEVER have published this. It’s so damaging to others with an alcohol addiction.
Totally agree. The Guardian was hugely irresponsible publishing it. Mind you, the article tipped me into thinking that she was perhaps not being quite truthful and got me wondering about the rest of her stories.

The pebble-spiral: a classic in its genre. A post intended to show what lovely family time they had shared, but instead demonstrates how everyone around her is on eggshells at all times. Even the children. On holiday. On the beach.

Probably already been answered but that's Vivien Leigh playing Scarlett O'Hara. She's gargling perfume to disguise the smell of alcohol.
Top Tip for Jack, it didn't work. Rhett saw right through her ruse but he married her anyway.
Vivien was stunningly beautiful; Scarlett wasn't but men seldom realised it, because SCARLETT had CHARM.
This was why people wanted to bask in their presence.

Top Tip for Jack: Why not consider developing a personality? I'm told it's never too late.

I think her shtick and her grift is over as she's just not really where it's at any more.

Her self-righteous 'championing' of the poor when she's never been poor comes off as exploitation of the charities set up to assist vulnerable people.

She's also a bit out of date now and bearing in mind that many groups of people who can't afford to eat and don't know how to best navigate the benefits system are migrant communities and refugees, she's coming off a bit 'white saviour' even a chunk of the people in question are white themselves, she's got that whole 'white British' 'allow us to correct how you're going wrong you poor simple fools' thing going on.

She's wrecked her future hopes of many possible careers by repeatedly declaring herself mentally unstable and severely emotionally dysregulated, even *if* she says it was just 'expressive writing' well bad luck guest it's all over the internet for many many years to come. Ditto being an addict and abusing pharmaceuticals including her prescription medication.

She just ensured that she can never be entrusted to work with vulnerable client groups or being a carer for children. She may not even be allowed full access to her own child, we don't even know what's going on there. And all because she preferred drama drama drama centering herself over and above a healthy productive life.

There's a whole slew of jobs she will never be eligible to apply for now. She would never be able to be a foster carer or adopt a child. If she gets pregnant there's a good chance her unborn baby would be put on the at risk register. She could be refused overseas travel visas and working holidays and certainly she'd be declined emigration status. All off the back of self-declaring herself a chronic addict. These are very real issues that affect many of us and she doesn't even really have them. It was all a stupid game to her.

Even the trans stuff that she 'pioneered' well now there's a whole generation of young people who have the real story - who actually did transition and have all types of surgeries. There's even the de-transition movement and other relevant issues right up front and active. She's not even part of any of that cos all she actually did was cut her hair short and lie about wearing a binder.

She's tried so hard to be *something* and *somebody* at all costs, she's ended up literally nothing and nobody. I have ideas about what she could do next that might just about be palatable and interesting to the general public but I'm not giving her free creative and careers advice.

Exactly this and also why wasn't the story about how they all had a great laugh playing on the beach making this pebble spiral together?

Obvs because that's not what happened but if 'oh look what an amazing pebble arrangement I made' is your take away key point from a weekend on the beach with family, there's bits missing. Also look how amazingly creative I am and I'm going to print this up so I can remember all about meeeee forever. She probably wanted people to say oh wow if you get that printed, I'll buy one.

The Instagram deletions are weird, is it mainly food that's going? Is she dating someone new and she doesn't want them to do any research on what they're getting themselves into?

I mean you'd leg it into next week if you thought any of that tit was gonna be served up, wouldn't you?
Imagine if this is the reason & the new ‘I want your money’ partner has just googled Guest & found that mussel, potato, chickpea & pear abomination that @Valiofthedolls posted.
Get out, get out now while you can, wealthy one.

Oh noooo, are you trying to tell us that Jack may have messed up her chance at her absolutely fail-safe, fallback, career plan Z of being a teacher at a PRU? Those poor children, how they will miss out.

She gives so much away in that stone spiral quote. Imagine being on a beach with a group of children and a couple of adults and one of the adults completely ignores everyone to spend ages making a stone spiral that the other adult is terrified of the children messing up. It’d be red flags everywhere wouldn’t it? Then the fact that she’s proud of herself for not going apeshit when one of the children kicks a stone really isn’t the boast she thinks it is.

She really gives herself away when she talks about her behaviour while with a group of people. I’ve always thought making OH’s family carry her ridiculous purchase of a massive set of old cookbooks around when they were exploring a town during OH’s mum’s birthday trip is another demonstration of her complete lack of understanding that other people aren’t just NPCs in her life drama.

Didn't she even say that the family paid for the books for her? That weekend must have been an absolute nightmare for them.

quoting myself without catching up fully; i just re-read the Guardian article. At the time of writing, she says: At the time of writing this, I have been sober for exactly a week. The change has been remarkable. My house is tidier than it has ever been.
Who commissioned this piece, and when? And if she contacted them and said she wanted to write about it in the paper, on what day did she do this?

And when was the photograph taken?

It all seems very convenient. Almost like there was another piece commissioned and she didn't do any work on it, they caught her out and she retaliated by saying "I DIDN'T DO XYZ BECAUSE I'M AN ALCOHOLIC. I'M IN RECOVERY, I'LL WRITE ABOUT THAT INSTEAD."

Otherwise the whole thing seems unreal - within one week of going sober, she's gone through recovery, and arranged for a photographer to come to her house AND written a coherent piece about it.

100%, sadly. I mean 'luckily' for everyone except her.

Thank god scrutiny is at all all time high and the type of enhanced background check for working in a position of authority or working solo with vulnerable client groups isn't just about convicted incidents, it's about all the times the police have been to your home for various reasons, all the times social services and welfare agencies have been involved etc.

Could explain why Big D and E are a bit distant. They'd be like hey don't bring your travelling circus to our home and wreck our credibility as foster carers. Also, she may quite literally be explicitly forbidden from being alone with any of their foster children because of her determination to appear batshit crazy.

For those of us who've experienced genuine difficulties and setbacks in this life that unfortunately have left us in a bit of an awkward position, it's particularly galling to see someone get up in the morning and set out with the full intention of having people think they're a hopeless addict or profoundly mentally ill (screaming and clawing at the floor?) or repeatedly making suicide attempts. She's giving a bad name to everyone. Desperado.

This reminds me of auctions, where you get six boxes of a dead nana’s kitchen cupboard contents for a fiver.
