Definitely in my top 3 of times she's humiliated herself. My favourite Jack moment was when she ominously suggested a squig with this chap's name was impersonating an officer. Oh happy day.

I think being told you’re lucky is fine in some contexts but if Jack or another child is trying to explain a genuine upset (even minor) then that refrain constantly is just really invalidating, just because other people have it worse doesn’t mean a child is never allowed to be upset.I get that. Fostering isn't for everyone and some who do suck at it but it's truly the Lards work, I think. To welcome a damaged kid into your home with hopes of giving them stability and safety is a massive undertaking and not for light hearted.
There is nothing at all wrong with being told as a kid that there's those in world who have had it significantly worse than you so for gods sake Sandra get a sense of perspective. Mum said no to you going out at weekend? Oh boo hoo your foster sibling was diddled by a close family member and now they're living somewhere totally new and harmed and trying to figure it all out.
I knew a foster kid at school. Rough kid but with the kind of razor sharp wit that would leave poor school teachers trying to tell him off while not p!ssing themselves laughing over his comments. Very damaged boy but with a heart of gold. Poor sod got sent down for Actual Murder (not manslaughter, he admitted to wanting to kill, hence , the mens rae, the guilty mind, and the actus reus, the guilty act) a few years back and I always respect people who can put themselves in position if caring for someone so damaged and harmed.
I get it must have been hard for Jack having to "share" her parents and I do wonder if the inability to deal with it and a fundamental immaturity to square that mental circle as an adult is what has caused her to be the monumental thunderc*nt she is now.
Oh duck off Greenbelt.Greenbelt have finally issued a statement about Jack. TL;dr we like Jack, we’ve all made mistakes, we’re getting some actual povs along too and we think this cancels out her cosplay.

I was just thinking this about Legs Akimbo!! The ninny hive mind at work. She's so bleeping cringe. She tries so hard to portray the image of what she thinks people think is cool, that she ends up being the complete opposite.Loving this Jack Cooper-Clarke turn of events.
One of my favourite lines from League of Gentlemen is coming to mind:
‘Poetry is like poverty, but without the “v”…’
Think it was immortalised by the Legs Akimbo community theatre group. Too on-point![]()

I personally haven't had the time to experience that particular pleasure yet, although I did enjoy Honourable Frau Andy's slopalong of sorts when he was trying to review Grifty Kitchen (thankspaceyou for the screengrabs on here).Have the recently hatched ninnies enjoyed the annual sloppies?
Are you me? I think you are me. Deffo my twin sister who had all the linguistic opportunities rather than the poor excuse for a 4 and a half GCSEs I was offered.
Where’s the caption that went with this pic please? It was 🫣🫣

That face in the ballet photo can make me angry if I'm already in a mood and it pops up. She's an idiot wrapped in a moron.
What does this actually mean? I must be dense. What "critical area of our life together"?Jack’s is not the only or most important voice and presence in this critical area of our life together. Far from it."
Was with you right up to the last sentence. I don’t believe she’s ever felt a strong emotion for anyone other than herself. That’s not be being nasty, or snippy, that’s genuinely how I see her.I’m not sure it’s quite rivalry but I do think it all stems from the fostering. From her parents descriptions in various articles singing their praises it sounds like it was a particularly chaotic house as they (or certainly big D at least) prided themselves on taking “challenging” children - there are descriptions of being on their third front door and a sink pulled off the wall amongst other things.
From everything Jack has said and given away about herself, this sounds like an environment that genuinely would have been absolute hell for her and it is hard for the bio children in that situation to speak out sometimes because all they tend to get is “But you’re so lucky compared to X, don’t you know what Y has been through, you should have compassion!” which I believe she got and is the cause of the resentment that absolutely shines through whenever she talks about fostering.
Her parents fostering is obviously admirable… but everything they and Jack have said makes me believe it was awful for Jack. None of this justifies what she does now obviously, but I reckon it’s where it’s all rooted.
ETA: and I also believe that apart from the behaviour she did struggle with attachment, even if her description of sharing a bedroom isn’t accurate - look how fast she goes from 0-Marriage with everyone who she shags, clear attachment issues there, I can see her getting attached to certain foster children and then being genuinely heartbroken over and over when they were then moved.
What's supposed to be wrong with it in that photo? I'm doing the exact same claw with mine now
Meh...I chose separate sciences at GCSE to pursue my dream of being a vet. Head of Sciences told my mum and I at Yr 9 parents' evening that I probably wasn't up to going on to study what I needed to achieve this based on my performance, application and attitude to date.I agree, it’s so strange. Honestly I would be hard pushed to name most of my teachers, let alone what any of them said to me.
Also, surely if teachers have an opinion on the career prospects of students they never share that view with the ACTUAL CHILD?! Surely that type of conversation is just staffroom banter. I’m sure they don’t actually care that much.
Maybe, neither Jenny, Peter, nor Barbara said anything about burgers or her future potential and she’s….. lying.
In fairness to guest, when she posts tit like this, she’s bleeping hilarious.
The foster situation plus an ill parent (mixed with probably a genetic propensity to some cluster-b-esque state of affairs) explains a lot about her personality I think. The constant need to be performatively unwell in one way or another because that's probably how people in her household got attention...
You are the best as always, Vali!
