I had a former colleague who absolutely loved her. Which was what led to me reading more, finding this place and realizing what a weapons-grade choad she is.

Her recipes are absurd, her back story holds as much weight as a soggy Kleenex and anyone with a three digit IQ and access to internet can find that out. Truly poverty afflicted people will tell you when cooking you buy the minimum with the least amount of £££ required to cook.true broke means you'll know what it'll cost roughly to cook something and factoring it in to cost involved because it's 7 days before you get paid and there's a fiver on the leccy.

FS man food banks even do food parcels for people with no leccy or no tin openers. And they even have spare tin openers for those without (as an aside if anyone wants to give to a good bank, tin openers are always a good bet).

I don't think her ex has an amazing income tbh. If I recall he is a photographer who breeds on the side.
If anything the agreement is probably zero but he can have the child benefit money. He sounds like he would agree to anything she asked though.

It's Mrs Ex I feel sorry for - what with guest gatecrashing their family caravan holidays etc.

I wonder if there is a lot of sibling rivalry from Jack due to her parents fostering. Sibling rivalry usually doesn't last past your teen years, but as we see the grudges she bears towards her "teachers" (as if Borbora/Piotr et al said words that she attributes to them would be said to a pupil) she bears those sibling rivalry grudges to the children her parents went on to adopt. IE she's angry that she had her "nose" pushed out of joint? Just my opinion as I'm not a psychologist into narcissists

From her parents descriptions in various articles singing their praises it sounds like it was a particularly chaotic house as they (or certainly big D at least) prided themselves on taking “challenging” children - there are descriptions of being on their third front door and a sink pulled off the wall amongst other things.

From everything Jack has said and given away about herself, this sounds like an environment that genuinely would have been absolute hell for her and it is hard for the bio children in that situation to speak out sometimes because all they tend to get is “But you’re so lucky compared to X, don’t you know what Y has been through, you should have compassion!” which I believe she got and is the cause of the resentment that absolutely shines through whenever she talks about fostering.

Her parents fostering is obviously admirable… but everything they and Jack have said makes me believe it was awful for Jack. None of this justifies what she does now obviously, but I reckon it’s where it’s all rooted.

ETA: and I also believe that apart from the behaviour she did struggle with attachment, even if her description of sharing a bedroom isn’t accurate - look how fast she goes from 0-Marriage with everyone who she shags, clear attachment issues there, I can see her getting attached to certain foster children and then being genuinely heartbroken over and over when they were then moved.

I get that. Fostering isn't for everyone and some who do suck at it but it's truly the Lards work, I think. To welcome a damaged kid into your home with hopes of giving them stability and safety is a massive undertaking and not for light hearted.

There is nothing at all wrong with being told as a kid that there's those in world who have had it significantly worse than you so for gods sake Sandra get a sense of perspective. Mum said no to you going out at weekend? Oh boo hoo your foster sibling was diddled by a close family member and now they're living somewhere totally new and harmed and trying to figure it all out.

I knew a foster kid at school. Rough kid but with the kind of razor sharp wit that would leave poor school teachers trying to tell him off while not p!ssing themselves laughing over his comments. Very damaged boy but with a heart of gold. Poor sod got sent down for Actual Murder (not manslaughter, he admitted to wanting to kill, hence , the mens rae, the guilty mind, and the actus reus, the guilty act) a few years back and I always respect people who can put themselves in position if caring for someone so damaged and harmed.

I get it must have been hard for Jack having to "share" her parents and I do wonder if the inability to deal with it and a fundamental immaturity to square that mental circle as an adult is what has caused her to be the monumental thunderc*nt she is now.

It'd probably be okay if they made some effort to set her talk in context. Print out copies of the "she's a fraud, a liar, a thief" Shattenstone interview for the audience, have her be interviewed by someone who's spent a couple of days studying the Tattle Wiki and the Molly archive, that sort of thing.

But they won't - she'll be allowed to present her usual lies without being challenged.

At this point, it looks like they're deliberately participating in a fraud.

This is the WORST kind of wet blanket response and one that is sadly familiar to anyone who engages with a certain kind of faith group. GreenBelt MUST be aware that there are serious and credible allegations of fundraising fraud that surround Monroe which she has not ever explained or been transparent about.

To put it in language they might understand, Jack Monroe has had her hand in the collection plate for TEN SODDING YEARS and has been worshipping the golden calf this whole time. Just THINK how many tombolas that adds up to? It's practically Vatican-level accumulation of wealth.

That patronising claptrap about bringing askshual povs to be in a special (quarantine?) tent is so OFF that I might just explode. It smacks of a Victorian human bleeping zoo.

They've managed to make themselves look like pricks in the process too but who cares?
