I know, with anything computer she can always use the “deleted it, mate” excuse like she did with her publisher for two years (it’s on post-it’s/my wifi is ouchie/my save button has bad mentals/the computer has locked me out or “is upstairs”) you think she’d pretend to do everything on a computer which can easily be blamed for the non-appearance of the “work”

Definitely. I think on DKL in particular it was clear that she was making everyone’s job much harder. That is an no-no in any job. And live TV is stressful enough without having to babysit some incompetent fool that has been foisted on you just because Nigella made a phone call to your boss. Matt was visibly stressed by it, and normally he’s a very affable host (which is why he’s been doing it so long).
And yet Jack thought she was being cute and adorable and everyone just loved clearing up after her chaos. People in telly can be very polite and encouraging when things go wrong (which Jack will have interpreted as fulsome praise), but they must have been absolutely gritting their teeth at DKL. Still, I wonder if she’s worked out yet that she was SO difficult and unpleasant to work with that this is what got her blacklisted by the Saturday Kitchen lot.
THIS. One of the biggest “JUST duck OFF” behaviours is adults who pretend being incredibly stupid/naive/childlike is cute and adorable and use it as a manipulation tool to boot. It’s not cute or adorable, it’s unprofessional and makes you look wilfully negligent to your own growth and wellbeing

Omg I love this so much. Really speaks to me about how so many ppl seem to behave like kids in general in the work environment !!! We are dealing with a mid 30s person at work who’s just crying at any opportunity, bottom lip quivering cos she can’t get her own way IMMEDIATELY and has no concept of other adults who are also going through tit. All about them though innit??

Jack clearly has such a wide on for the idea of being in TV it's totally cringe. Made worse by the fact she's only actually done it a handful of times, and even then they've been 2 minute interviews, a blink and you'll miss it slot or a straight to internet guest appearance. All things she's hyped up beyond belief to create this veneer of someone with a respectable career in the media.

They always say the first thing to look at on a CV is repeat business. Same companies keep getting you back? Chances are you aren't a total bell end. Multiple jobs at multiple companies? Red flag.

Nothing she has done even approaches a career in TV. What she has had are small group of directors and producers taking a chance on her with a 'surely she can't be that bad' mentality. And she has proven time and time again, she's not just bad, she's TERRIBLE.

I wish she would actually do something. I keep seeing your posts of actual content, get excited then read the twitter post date and like always when she is involved i am dissapointed. The whole point of everything at the minute she no matter how she spins tit, she is majorly disliked by her peers aandis bascially only wheeled out be people who either she has paid to big her up or pity her. Its really not a great as she thinks it is.

Absolutely - that & repeated gaps in the CV or long periods of time spent on “own projects” without specifying what those projects were about/delivered

Exactly. Factual producers want to make good content - they need people who are:
-Charismatic and engaging, at least on screen
-Know their stuff and add value to the discussion
-Easy to work with - do what you're told and don't duck about or make life hard for other people on set
-Most importantly, reliable

I used to do quite a lot of media work 🍉 🍉 and was always getting repeat bookings and approached for more opportunities because I knew what they wanted and delivered every single time. You have to be a serious talent (which guest is not) if you want to bypass any of those basic requirements.

Ok then NINNIES I have just forced myself to watch the horse gunk lasagne vid because I'm sick of feeling left out whilst you lot discuss it. Ten minutes of subjecting my ears to that bleeping HONK. I've had to gone for a wee lie down.

Oi Linda, I want a bleeping AWARD for this, ok?

Jack appeared in an early iPlayer only version of Doctor's Kitchen.

For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure:

---

Yes. She bigged it up, as usual. 15 mins on iPlayer.
I’ve never seen this but hat tip to Dr Rupy. She doesn’t get to cook at all, just admire his cooking. And she can’t ag him off because he invited her on his show! He’s neutralised her. Excellent work 👍

I’ve lost it now but please can we come up with a special fake award for the funny Frau who has introduced ‘Sue Lee’ into the guest lexiCON loooooool 🍾🦉🍾🦉

also this is way out of line but who gives a duck eh - whenever I lurk on these threads recently all that goes through my head is a song we used to chant at uni whenever somebody had to down a pint as part of a drinking game (yes we were obnoxious and yes I cringe a LOT about all of that behaviour now).

Anyway it goes something like (steps inside shower):

NO ONE LIKES YOU, NO ONE LIKES YOU, WOOO-OOOOO-OOOOOH, YOU’RE A twit (repeat until said pint is finished/spilled all over oneself as was usually the case with this smol mouthed frau. Also these days I’m minded to swap ‘twit’ for ‘bleep’ as all insults - and indeed all wordsare interchangeable).
---
Also I am grunking and out in the wild so sorry for lack of spoilers for swears and any inappropriate timing!!

I have always wondered why Jack's glasses vanished halfway though the episode. I will ask her next time she comes on Tattle for an unsolicited AMA 🥰

Has anyone ever picked up on the significant time difference between the UK and Israel being 2hrs? That meaning it was 9:30pm on a Friday night in Israel when she posted this. If the case was so pressingly urgent that she was fundraising immediately and nothing could wait until she’d taken legal advice on the Monday, then how is it the case that almost a year later she hasn’t done anything about it?
The canal immediately picked it up, laughed about it and at some point weeks later Jack grunked. Then took to including the info that her lawyer is Jewish in future tweets, but he’d be on it as soon as Shabbat is over. Which was aimed at us, but made duck all sense to the people on the hellsite

Madness isn't it. Especially when you consider that THAT MAN did a whole run of programmes during lockdown with his wife filming him on her iPhone.
And when you consider she did a tv presenting course in 2018 paid for by crowdfunding BOOP BOOP

Oh dear. Guest is defo buying followers. As we know these people have to be SCREENED, to get into comments club, so we know that they are not accidental bots. I wonder how many she’s actually losing on a daily basis to be pulling this stunt? Just an example of lots of her recent new followers - all JIM BOB numbers but all zeros 0 have a strike through and they are all accounts set up in April or May 23 - all of them are following 7 and have 0 followers. Not squiggling as they are bots. What a life Guest, what a life.

They’re obviously bots but I don’t think they’re in comments club as she’s not following them back?
