The time line of Jack coming out as a lesbian varies, as does all things Jack, according to her audience.

Although Jack should be able to have as many burgers from as many different places as she wants without being burger-shamed.
Very big apologies if what I posted today came across as burger-shaming. It absolutely wasn’t meant to be; it was more to do with that I’d forgotten I’d known someone who had met her, and the point about her always being on her phone. She has every right to do exactly as she pleases with however many consenting adults as she wants (and no need to tell Twitter about it either of course!).
As others have said, it’s the grifting and the financial unaccountability that brought me and others here and that is what is worthy of conversation.

Look, sometimes you want a burger, sometimes you want a hot dog. Sometimes, you may even fancy a big unruly kebab. I’m not sure where I’m going with this analogy.

She'll try it in a very roundabout way because she's addicted to easy money. I predict some catastrophe around the move which will be tweeted, followed by a day or two of silence, then the please donate to TT instead of me after the required donations have come in.
If she does, it’ll make the kickback after HH2 look benign. Twitter will explode.

I know, I can't wait! That said I think the Kool Aid crew are still good for a few quid, lets face it you could show them CCTV footage of Jack robbing their gran and they'd still make excuses for her.

Newbie both here and to the perplexing world of Jack Monroe. So forgive me if these questions about the "Cooking On A Bootstrap" Kickstarter have already been asked and answered.
  1. Is it known if every backer eventually received their copy of the book? I see even "superbackers" were complaining about non-receipt. One backer confirmed as recently as six months ago that he hadn't received the book. I'm not familiar with the Kickstarter Terms and Conditions, but I would expect that a backer would be contractually entitled to receive a copy of the book, and that failure to deliver would constitute a breach of those terms.
  2. How was it possible for the book to be published by Bluebird while the Kickstarter initiative was still in progress? Backers were understandably aggrieved when they discovered that a better quality version of the book was available to buy even while they waited for delivery of the version they had funded. Again, wouldn't the Kickstarter T&Cs have addressed this scenario by requiring JM to refund contributions of those who had yet to receive the book at the time of, or after, the Bluebird publication?
  3. Did the Launch Party to which the £200 tier backers were to be invited ever take place?
Boy, so much about JM makes the head spin, and I've only just started.

Only a narc would think nobody else has access to Google except for them.
Does she still think we all have encyclopedias blocking our bookshelves and testosterone isn't in the T one..

Oh Jack..

Sometimes it hard to remember how much things have changed. I only joined Tattle a few months ago and, at that time, you couldn’t say a wrong word about Sainted Jack on Twitter without bringing her and the monkeys down on your head, often for days at a time.
Now her critics are everywhere and they don't give a tinkers curse who reads what they say.

Wait a minute ..
I'm a guy so if I enjoy eating a kebab that means straight, if I like giving a hotdog, also straight.. if I like getting a hot dog?
Nope I'm confused...
Besides, I reckon fall in to the category that is rarely hungry.

Yes, the change is incredible in such a short space of time and it's clear there have been a lot of people not saying anything but thinking Jack is at it for a while now. I do think whatever happens she'll retain a small but loyal band of squigs but probably not enough to keep her in the style to which she is accustomed.

Get away from Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits you SH1TTER!

Also voice changes are not reversible when you come off testosterone, so double no it bleeping didn't because we'd still be able to hear it. Why is she so wrong about everything all the time? It's lying isn't it?

Sorry but isn't what she describes (her publisher dropping her for coming out as trans) a clear case of discrimination based on gender reassignment? I appreciate the legal technicalities might be different from someone being sacked from a job but I still think it would have made an excellent pro bono case for a lawyer.

The whole kickstarter thing needs looking into IMO. She raised a huge amount of money and, as she says herself repeatedly, 25% of the books were bought to go to foodbanks etc.
lit would be one heck of a job trying to untangle it though
