Can I just bring over from the last thread the shocking fact that @Toffee finger has given us, which is that Southend doesn't have wheelie bins. How the duck did she see potatoes and greens rolling out of a hole in her neighbour's bin if they don't even have bins?

Did she specifically say wheelie bin though? She could have meant black bin bag. These are the FORENSIC details we need

This is the tweet. She says they put their bins out and being as I am well acquainted with the concept of bins, I assumed it was an actual bin but maybe she did mean bin bags. I mean it's all academic as obviously it's a whacking great lie. Have a lovely evening!

Not at all related, but I¹ was looking at hotels for a couple of nights in London at the start of June the other day, and I saw one that I thought looked nice and thought "if that's about £600 I might just pay it".

It was £1350. So duck that. Even though I could just about afford that (admittedly via a credit card, I'm not *that* well off).

The difference is that I'm, on the other end of the scale, quite willing to stay in a £40 a night hotel as well.

¹as I've said before, I'm not in any way badly off.
