I found it very telling that she said a while back her dad tells her to get a real job! She's supposedly a best selling author, writer, cooker, bullshitter, surely that is a Real job that many people have and do well in.

I think her parents are dissapointed that she didn't follow what they had planned for her. I am sure I also read on here her parents were not too impressed with her baby news back in the day.

I honestly think her parents had high hopes for their daughter and she didn't turn out how they planned and to prove them wrong she tries to keep herself relevant and famous by doing more outlandish and stupid things.

Well she has made her entire brand of the fact she starved him rather than go round to her mum and dad’s for food.
True. I’ve had times when I’ve ran out of money and food - each time I’ve called my Grandparents who have rocked up an hour later with £50 and a weeks worth of food shopping.

That’s not happened for a decade now but I suspect it will happen again soon, the way things are going.

Swallowing my pride and asking for help so I can feed my kids doesn’t fucken bother me at all - cos, ya know, it’s not about me, is it?

And it’s not as if her entire family are Povs, they’re all wealthy and if they are the sort that would have done nothing to help, then, well… Words fail me.

What a nice thing to say publicly about your OH’s family
And quite unkind about her own Implying her family doesn't get on.
And that menu looks quite basic? Why is she in such a flap about it.

I felt like a prize ninny today. Needed painkillers so went to Morrisons pharmacy. Stood in queue, ordered painkillers, but they only take card payment and mine was in the car. So said I'd go and get it and come back later. Anyway after dawdling got card and went back. Much larger queue as I joined the back. After about 10 minutes of nothing happening and people getting hot and cross, one lady saying she had to go and sit down somewhere, I heard the pharmacist say to his assistant 'well she said she had to go to the car for her card but would be back soon'. He hadn't voided it but was waiting for me . I was mortified. I apologised to the queue in a very fake cheery manner and was met with stoney angry stares. I didn't blame them tbh - I'd be the same.

Is she going to bring out the empty chair photo again?

What a stupid brown nosing reply.

Thought she was shitting it about the bills, rise all that energy and water bills?!

Also she would never survive in a working kitchen if ten people get her this flustered. I have cooked for 10 people before with a normal gas oven. It's not hard Hun and yes I made a Sunday dinner.

Please don’t get me started I was trying to triangulate the poxy bungalow for about a hundred years I have no idea where to start with actual people!!
Still never found it either. I get lost amongst the interiors of a lot of them. I know what to look for but there are so many. Then I do the Google earth thing and the beautiful swimming pools many have. Obviously filled with a hose and not heated because it’s such a run down area

imagine the atmosphere at the McDonalds after party tonight, like freshers week but with additional slop-PTSD

This has just reminded me of the benefit gig that she was asked to do for Ukraine! Can you imagine Jack catering for paying guests?!

The first year I hosted Christmas Dinner (I was 26) I decided to have 12 adults plus 4 kids over. Thank fuck for slow cookers and steamers. Never again though

She's definitely said before that she and her brother don't get on so this is par for the course with Jack. Didn't she claim she'd punched him and he'd made cracks about her being a single parent?

It's hard to tell what the truth is behind Jack's many tales, but I do think her Dad must have been incredibly disappointed/annoyed when she chucked in the job he clearly got her on a whim and the stories she tells about that and the chief must be an absolute humiliation for him. Not that she should have had to stay there if she didn't like it just because he got her the job, but the way she did it seems to have created an absolutely awful situation for both of them - and if there's any truth to the poverty I assume that is the reason she didn't go to them at first.

Jack when OH asks what's for dinner:

Also I can confirm it is possible to play that gavotte with one hand on a two-octave keyboard so it is theoretically in reach for Jack. I played it and it's an absolute banger.
