Sorry, @MancBee - I feel like I was a bit flippant about what he said in my post. It was another in his series of threats/cajoling/blame game. I got a bit inured to it in the end, and I have little time for it now. But I appreciate suicide is a horribly serious problem, especially in male mental health, and I didn't mean to be flip about that.

I think it’s just attention seeking. She wants people to notice that she’s suffering, post-breakup. And I understand that mentality, even though it’s really unhealthy.

It’s like she’s on an anti-promotion campaign for her own book at the moment, with her current diet of instant ramen and anti-depressants. Isn’t the whole premise of the book that the food is quick, easy and nutritious - the kind of food you want and need when you’re not in a good place? So surely she should be practicing what she preaches and reaching for her own book at mealtimes?
