It's such a badly-told story too. Sounds like her dad rocked up and, without saying anything, dropped the watch into her grubby outstretched hand, then disappeared.

Yep, look at the strap on hers, brand new never been worn. Got a cross in the middle for godly dad. Like something one of the masons would wear along with all their mates....

Just checked out the watch eBay review. Bought on Monday, what a coincidence ay, ya peeky mink. Was that purchased before or after the Nigella endorsement ... edit to add: there's an 8 at the end of the buyers name. Wouldn't happen to be 1978 would it?

I can believe the watch story. Probably knows Jack's got the hump again and is acting up, goes round to pacify her

It's just under 2k per year for her, but it will be 25% less if she is the sole adult. There have been so many mentions of housemates, bubble buddies, friends etc, who knows? And it will rise in April. Mine isn't much less than hers for a small Band C, 2 bed semi in a Northern town that has very high levels of deprivation.That's about 2.5k a month
