I think I've worked out why that slogan has f*cked me off so much.

She has said before, "first we feed people, then we riot". If you are hungry to the point of dying from starvation, not just being malnorished from not being able to eat enough or having decent quality food, you objectively would not be able to afford a t shirt.

Therefore the people buying the t shirt are not those on the t shirt they refer to. They're making a political point out of people dying from starvation via a punchy slogan and you're not even in the aforementioned group? Nah.
She thinks she's Billy Bragg, who is up there with all the other *lefty celebs who eventually forget what the fight is for

*Not saying jack is lefty but there's a lot on the 'well known lefty' circuit who don't actually subscribe to what labour and socialism means but don't want to be marked as Tories, probably more likely centrists but it doesn't sound as cool but they definitely veer from the left when the money comes in

Can't believe I've actually researched this, but just a wee #factcheck for Jack - in the government's 'deprivation rank', Jack's *constituency* came in at 128 out of 533. They then give a micro / macro* ranking for each area and Thorpe Bay comes in at 10 (where 1 is the most deprived percent and 10 is the LEAST deprived).

*Hotes we need a definitive answer on this STAT

I think for Jack it's a case of why have poors and riot yourself.

She seriously thinks a t shirt saying 'dead people can't riot' is suitable to be linked to a charity that deals with poverty?
In is in such poor taste I am quite astonished and disgusted.
What the hell is wrong with her?

Has Jack even mentioned Tesco closing down deli counters and Jacks supermarkets? Both will be a huge blow to food poverty imo.

Nope, Jack tries to grift more money with bad taste tee-shirts. What an utter prune.

I mean, if you go by her logic it's a good thing as they're too expensive for the poors anyway and it just makes more space for TINS.

The Jack you see on telly and twitter Jack are completely different arent they.

On twitter she makes out like she's some firebrand, describing things in florid overwrought landguage. Then on telly she's this little droning beige person.
It’s too early isn’t it. But I appreciate it.

I know it’s very much not the point, but even from a design perspective that shirt is terrible. And it took them what, 15 minutes? How insulting to the people they are offering to ‘help’.

That's the thing the slogan paired with what actually happens when you riot ( from the bloody Sunday archives) I am 100% against rioting I have seen first hand what it leads too and it's not worth it, yes by all means fight for your rights but get them where it hurts diplomatically. Riots just lead people to getting arrested or hurt and for what so the people in power just sneer at you more and then if feeling obliged chuck a cursory amendment into the regulations pot. We need a party to come into fruitation not fronted by her or any other ego stistical idiots that actually wants to help the poor and downtrodden, without seeking glory or trying to make a quick buck.

Gee! That'd go really nicely with say a bleeping MAGA hat. Honestly you can just see nutjobs in an open carry state menacing a BLM demo or similar with something like that.
Yes! Or like those Russian lads who think they are some kind of militia wear. The ones who do extreme martial arts upon each other for some reason.
Perfect for a charity.
