This tweet has really wound me up. Yes, Eton is an exceptionally privileged educational establishment and there are a very high proportion of individuals who went to that school who are currently in the higher levels of our government.

However, there are three points that I think need to be made (sorry if this comes across as teachery but she is fecking clueless)

1. there are more exclusive and expensive schools than Eton out there. There are plenty of individuals from these schools in the higher echelons of society but because she knows ~precisely~ nothing about education she never name drops them and doesn’t realise the impact they have on our society.

2. Eton doesn’t just teach wealthy boys from the SE. It does a huge amount in terms of assisted places- in 2019/20 90 students paid no fees at all. I am not defending it here, but she seems to think that it is entirely made up of one demographic and it simply isn’t.

3. Finally and most importantly, she has a nerve writing those words when she went to an all girls’ grammar school. I am not going into the research surrounding the outcomes regarding all girls’ schools but her school was hardly an RI academy.

I do not agree with the way independent schools have widened the education gap over the last two years. But the way Jack naively writes about Eton from her privileged grammar education is just wrong.

🔺 Ex property manager frau here. Managed 1500 + rental properties in my department. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER did we have an agreement for more than 12 months, and we only ever did them if the Landlord absolutely insisted. Whoever has arranged that agreement wants their head reading. It puts landlord and tenant equally at so much risk.
The only thing I can perceive happening is that, for some reason, she is regularly signing new tenancies - for example, a change to the agreement happens and both parties agree to a new agreement being signed. Then a few months later, something else changes and a new agreement is signed. But there is no reason for that to happen regularly!

Rant ahead slightly about me but hey Jack is influencing me….

Only someone truly blind to their own privileges would WHINE and MOAN about how POOR them has a FUCKING ENORMOUS albeit poorly laid out kitchen and they JUST CANT WORK in it. Like her kitchen appears to be bigger than the ground floor of our (EX COUNCIL) house. I’ve worked in restaurants with smaller ones and like 4 chefs…

She rents a fucking 1/2 mansion. This is another procrastination from her job and her taxes. Most of the country has been working in peculiar working arrangements at home all squeezed in together for the past 2 years.

She’s Fannie’s and galavanted around a massive bungalow with multiple rooms when she is the only occupant most of the time (after SHE LEFT) as SB appears to actually live with his MAIN parent- ie not her.

My a grandparents ALWAYS rented - were actually POOR in the 50s and 60. Always small council houses with 2 kids full time and they muddled a long. Their house was always immaculate too and they were so grateful to get their first home after 4 years on the lists in post war Scotland.

Jack acts like it’s such a hardship to have to make your HOME in a rental. Which shows a very Tory mindset of thou shalt own the property you call home. Homes are created not bought, Jack and their made with love and hardship and everything in between.

You can’t make a home because you’re a selfish grifter who plays out a poverty yarn for Twitter engagement. Get a proper hobby and work on your career if you actually still want to cook. If you don’t find a new job and spend time with your kid.

Stop slagging off your RENTED HOME on social media. Be thankful for what you have especially after the last 2 years have shown how fragile life is.

Oh and DO YOUR BLOODY TAXES. And rehome Dash to a loving home!

She really needs to change her ‘I’m so proud I’m in the doorway of Tory No.10’ Twitter header pic if she’s going to do Political Jack.

I don't know why she's using alcohol free wine when a. she says that it tastes like crap b. it probably shouldn't even be in the house at this stage of her you-know-what and c. she says that brewed tea is a good substitute.

Jack's kitchen is bigger than my kitchen diner, and yet we manage to survive. As do all our neighbours with 4 and 5 family members. They really have their head in the clouds when it comes to living expectations.
Truly amazing to me that she doesn't realise how out-of-touch she sounds to most people (if they would just THINK about it a little). I mean, with all these emails coming in about people on benefits and scraping by you'd think it would click. Reminds me of the time she interviewed a man who was living in a car while she was at Allegra's and she was talking about envying him??

I do feel a bit for LJC as in I could perceive that it’s possible she got “caught up” in the Monrollercoaste, and so did things or knew things, that she might have been ok with otherwise. Jack can be very manipulative just on SM so I can only imagine the gaslighting and boundary-erosion behind the scenes.
ETA remember when she “accidentally” streaked across the room in just her socks and “bubble buddy” LJc was on a work zoom?
Remember when LJC LEFT (first time around) and all her mates were buying her presents like “you are amazing and strong and if you can’t love yourself etc etc” - silent implication: do not go back to that narc. Their groans when the situationship was resumed with the bubble buddy performance were practically audible.

Corrrr can't wait to get my felonious little hands on all her dusty rolls of background wallpaper imbued with essence of sardine and the greasy scorched string of pearls plant. I've always wanted a toaster that says TOASTER on it as well, because being autistic I can never remember what appliances do without a reminder. Russell Hobbs had to send me a new kettle because I kept shoving my bread in there.

I just can't find any sympathy for someone living in a 3 bed detached house in an affluent part of a town. Jack's had ample opportunity to move and live within their means, but for whatever reason won't. Yet is quite happy to accept money from people less fortunate, but doing nothing in return.
I can't understand why people don't see this?
Maybe I'm just bitter as I had to pay my taxes this week:censored:
