Don't her squiggle followers ever wonder when she fits work in?

She spent a day sorting out clothes, a day dyeing clothes, a day steaming/photographing/wrapping clothes for sale, a day dressing up and having hair done and playing with makeup, a day sorting her kitchen. Unless, like her, they consider this her paid employment.

She hasn't finished her book, she hasn't appeared on TV, she hasn't sorted out her website, she hasn't created any new recipes (thankfully). What of any consequence has she done?

So what do these squiggles think is her actual job?

I’m glad for LJC’s glow up after covid and Jack but she was still an enabler of the grift for a time so gets a Paddington Hard Stare. We speculate she wrote apologies, paid for therapists on speed dial and tried to calm the narc but Patreon was going on throughout also people offering trolleys and fuel allowance.

The Red Dwarf books are apparently good if anyone hasn’t heard of them (like me till about a month ago when my husband started reading them!)
I concur!

Given Jack's love of vastly impractical expensive things, I'm amazed the wallpaper is Wilko and not something like Timorous Beasties.

I ❤ timorous beasties, this is my favourite

Though the actual dream is to get one wall done in these panels ...

Speaking of Jack Does Italian...

In the run-up to the Brexit referendum, Jack decided to do a series of recipes celebrating the many cultures of Europe. This lasted for precisely one entry: pizza.

"the Sicilian chef who snuck across the ocean" suggests a poor understanding of both geography and immigration law. Later, Jack encourages people to put leftover tikka masala on their pizza, which is possibly the fastest way to piss off an Italian.

As a footnote, Jack's This Is England Brexit tag would later be used for mushroom rogan josh, ramen, and peanut butter frozen yogurt. If she ever returns to Tattle, WHY?! will be my one question for her.

Why does 'food' writer occasional poverty cosplayer Jack Monroe think parliament is 'her world'?
Bring called an activist by the media does not a politician make.
She doesn't work there, neither does she have any political role anywhere other than being wheeled in to rep for the poors and one-time ego driven plan to become MP for her local area.
She's been brought in for various bits over the years such as her play to the audience bit at 'conference', but nowadays she does as much for politics as she does for the Netflix/Bristol sports thing and does it as well as she did her del Monte collab.

She's not much more than a pundit at best.

So have just done an estimate on her revenue for 2021 - this isn’t straight forward but please bear with the explanation of it and as you read the bullets look at the table to help visualise! Excel phobic fraus pls join us on this journey and rest assured we will guide you through it!

So we factually know how many subscribers she had per month - what we don’t know is which payment tier they’re on or the platform fee Patreon are charging her. There’s also more complex shit like annuals get discounted but I see that as going in the vague estimate of avg monthly sub?

Because we don’t know these two we can take a look at a range of values and decide the assumptions that fit for us. So along the columns we’re applying different patreon fees, with 12% being the very highest according to their documentation and I’d assume for the big boys raking in tens of thousands a month?

Along the rows we have different avg subscription values, from the absolute minimum of £3.50 up to a hugely generous £20.00.

So let’s run through some scenarios:
* The absolute bare minimum she’d have received last year is £10.7k, assuming everyone is on the cheapest tier of £3.50 and Patreon are charging their highest fee of 12%
* Moving along the blue row you can see how a change in rates would effect her take home, if she’s on the cheapest rate of 2% she takes home £11.9k
* Going all the way up to the most £££ assumption that the average sub is £20 per month, this would mean taking home £61.2k - £68.2k per year.
* Personally for me, I think the truth lives somewhere in the grey. I think her audience are affluent enough that an avg sub of around a tenner makes sense and I’d imagine that she’d only be subject to minimal fees, so a take home of £25k - £34k from this makes sense.

Ps can we pls discuss how ducking annoying the ads are when trying to do a long post????
A) this is the kind of content we are here for. Facts, backed up by actual data. #deductionoverinductioneverytime (sort of).

B) If she is bringing in this much (over £20k) every year for doing pretty much nothing then her shouty tweets mean even less. Why are we the only ones who care?

Everyone else: ALPACAS 🦙

I do feel a bit for LJC as in I could perceive that it’s possible she got “caught up” in the Monrollercoaste, and so did things or knew things, that she might have been ok with otherwise. Jack can be very manipulative just on SM so I can only imagine the gaslighting and boundary-erosion behind the scenes.
ETA remember when she “accidentally” streaked across the room in just her socks and “bubble buddy” LJc was on a work zoom?

I just can't get past having an ongoing passive aggressive argument with a landlord through the medium of Twitter. So bloody rude.

I'm still getting the giggles at Jack attending the Southend West by-election and shouting at some random old lady in a school hall 'sit down, I need to see fucking Leigh-On-Sea'.

Who the fuck makes scale models of their room and furniture? Surely you just use your eyes and think “that’ll work” or “no, my 7 sideboards won’t fit in this room”?

How much STUFF does she have to need to make a scale model? LJC, it makes me sick.

So I guess we can tick “mega planning of selling some shit clothes” off the to do list if she’s moved on to another project? Well done Jack 👏

Seeing as you’ve fully caught up Jack, can you update us on the kitten and Dash please?

Well that was an enlightening and annoying grunk. Nice deployment of J 93kg there for us ninnies. Keep posting your brain starts, Jack, it lets people know you’re not at all poor.
Bear in mind she intimated she had about 30k in savings a few weeks ago. Things like the Hellman’s and Mel Donte partnerships would have brought in serious money as well, like 50k upwards. I think she said once that the website (aft links) brought in a decent monthly amount as well.
Hilariously, she lost all her aff links with the recent website crash.

I have a sink, dishwasher and draining board in my kitchen among other things but for the purpose of this discussion I am focusing mainly on these three items .
The dishwasher is first on the left with a worktop on top.
The dishwasher is plumbed into a space next to the sink, on the right. It's a modern house, I believe that this space is Custom Designed to house a dishwasher.

The dirty dishes go atop the dishwasher, ready to either go into the sink or into the dishwasher.
The sink comes next, I call this section 'the middle'.
Under the sink is a cupboard space which also houses kitchen sink pipery. I call this space 'under the sink'.

To the right of middle (not unlike our protagonist's politics most days) you will find my draining board. Underneath the draining board is another built in space.
I use this space to house my washing machine.
This machine is different from the dishwasher inasmuch as this is used to launder clothes and other soft fabrics.
Occasionally harder things like training and sports shoes but this doesn't always go well.

The other side of the room can be addressed at a more appropriate time.
