It’s so funny how posh Jack sounds here. Mirroring Allegra obvs. But has never had a “coarse Essex accent” as much as she desperately scrabbles around for reasons to feel oppressed and under-recognised by the media.

I’d never seen the Eden Project video before! Isn’t it obvious that it was Allegra’s gig (and she’s great on camera, so relaxed and personable) and Jack came along for the ride. Allegra’s tips are so simple and useful and Jack’s ramblings are… well, pretty useless.

As for all this vintage cutlery… Jack, stop chasing dopamine by pissing money up the wall on second hand kitchenalia. You can kid yourself that you're barely even spending money when it’s second hand, and that it’s related to your “work” (ahem) but when the high wears off it’ll just join the hoard and you won’t look at them again for months.

Is there a name for someone who writes with great conviction yet has none? I imagine that German would have something polysyllabic and delicious.

I think she's blocked the window with those bookshelves. The way the bed was had the window at the foot of the bed. She could've moved the bed but that would block the built in cupboards. She's either blocked the window or built them round the bed like a wall.

Do you think this is all because the CD shelves went down so well with the squigs earlier in the week?

My MIL was a constant re-arranger of furniture, it made me feel really uncomfortable, one that this little old lady was bench-pressing furniture around constantly by herself and two it was just odd and unsettling, there was no sense of peace in her house. I asked her why she did it and she said it was "to keep people guessing" i.e. for attention

I’m constantly amazed/appalled at the willingness for people online to tell others to ‘fuck the hell off’ especially when we all know Jack would avoid any and all face to face confrontation. Especially blue tick people who want to be slebs like Jack.

I'd like to take a quick look at this:

When English speakers refer to ragù they usually mean ragù alla bolognese...aka bolognese sauce. This is the same sauce commonly used in lasagne, so the first 3 items on her 5-item list are the same thing.

Risotto is not even remotely slow-cooked.

Boeuf bourguignon can't really be made alcohol-free, because alcohol is the key ingredient. If someone told you they were making boeuf bourguignon and gave you (tinned?) beef in tea and tomato purée, you could probably have them for false advertising.

In short, Jack knows nothing about cooking. Again.

Does she think beef bourguignon is… Italian?
