Well, to celebrate non-Titmas I scurried like a greedy goblin to my local bakery and purchased a butter pie and a rhubarb & custard turnover to wash it down with.

Oh, and a witchy gingerbread.

Go well.

I still struggle with what her point was with the JO pile on.
Because he's rich and therefore Jack, for reasons best known to them, decided that it was somehow stealing their niche if someone famous talked about budget food.

Thoughts and prayers to Jack right now, reading this thread and realising we're all paying more attention to the provenance of sardine advent calendars than to her Diva.pdf story.
tbf, the diva pdf had been thoroughly raked over before the sun came up!

side characters visiting are always gonna be more entertaining than jack's misery and lies

eta, just as i posted that, this popped into my maverick puppybrain - 🎶tiiitmas time, misery and lies🎶

JO is the epitome of what Jack wishes they could be. Grew up lower middle class, struggled at school, found his niche, to an extent got lucky with being ‘discovered’ but then worked his butt off to achieve, uses his platform for good ( cf school dinners, Fifteen etc) as well as taking in the £££, when things go wrong picks himself up and carries on. Jack is just jealous

If one things for sure, it's that she absolutely could not have done what THAT MAN did during lockdown with her terrible limited presenting skills. He was shooting and creating recipes daily and barely holding it together at some points. Hats off to him though, only he could have done it. Jack couldn't even make it to twitter everyday for her lockdown larder, conveniently scheduled for the same time as Jamie's show.

Jack, tell me you're a good person again would you?

Jack’s missed a trick in not becoming a Bitcoin PAYE employee of Vlad’s politically destabilising ninnies, he’d have been able to make that tit slither into an NFT for her

I have repeatedly said i have never taken it off tattle

How can she be sure no one in her real life has reported her to any of these organisations.

Sometimes its often closer to home pet.
Unless the report came from professionals. It's usually family members, often the mum. Sometimes the ex, but that is more likely to be vindictive.

I've Only skimmed the Diva article. Self serving, doesn't take responsibility for her behaviour
Jack seems to think anyone who has heard of her will have an opinion on her. Which is massively egotistical. So not sure how the 12 steps are going.

However, good to see she gave a positive shout out to her parents and her son's other parent.

Jesus wept it’s like entering a psych ward….only in text form.
I don’t post here much, if at all 😂 but that article.
The woman is the definition of draining.

every addict knows where there’s a bottle, or a pill, or a credit card,
there’s an excuse for why you picked them up, this time 😐 what was the first excuse.

romanticise it all you want, because that’s what she’s tried to do here, but if she said this load of self indulgent wanky bull crap to a therapist, the therapist would say the exact same thing back at her, you’ll always find an excuse and a reason to absolve yourself of full blame.

tattle life is now the new “daddy issues” admin should use that as a tag line for influencers,
Have a good relationship with daddy…? well we’re here to provide an excuse as to why your now suffering from mental health issues and using these “issues” to increase your engagement and update YouTuber one adsense check at a time”

back to jack, can’t be easy having people criticise you online,
but let’s be honest she’s no shrinking violet who blends into the background, if you’re someone who willingly gets involved in social media tomfuckery (arguments, bizarre streams of incoherent tweets, public criticism of others, public breakdowns…as well as taking part in questionable cooking segments 😐)
You’re going to receive criticism. If you’re an addict, it’s your responsibility to make sure you have the support available when this happens.
And no, support is not defined as “write a poor me article of emotional bull crap with a list of reasons as to why nothing is ever your fault 🙄

My mum's alcoholism killed her, and I truly believe that the reason she was never able to recover was that she always blamed other people for her issues. I hope that Jack is able to be honest with herself eventually.

Gratitude is another thing that Jamie has that Jack doesn't, (despite her daily gratitude diary claims) he was so grateful to his family for helping and supporting him through carry on cooking. Jack however blamed SB & LJC for her failings on twitter after each episode.

I dont think she should have written this article right now. Shes still in recovery and in very early days.

Her judgement might be clearer than it was but she still has a long way to go. Recovery from anything does not happen after a few weeks, its takes years.

Shes building a way to recovery but she still needs to work on herself. She needs to stop needing everyone else to make her feel anything about herself, she needs to OWN her tit and work on how past mistakes have let her down, she needs to stop the pity partying and actually make herself a decent role model for herself and her kid. We are one entity in her life, she can ignore us and carry on using us as an excuse is just that an excuse to ignore her own bad behaviour.

I totally agree.
I was taken in by the 2019 article, where she preached about quitting alcohol easily. Although I'm not and never have been an alcoholic I recognised I was drinking too much and didn't really like myself when I did.

I thought if she could do it like that then why couldn't I. That article wasn't sneaked onto a big page like she suggested in Diva, she stood up for that article and promoted it on Twitter.

I had a lot of respect for her at that point but slowly things didn't add up. Her Twitter behaviour, the crowd funder, the JO campaign, the lack of promotion of others etc etc

I really think the 16 weeks have been wasted on her, she wants something to blame for her behaviour. So I believe has picked addiction.

It is clear from the Daily Kitchen show and the others she has done that she is disorganised and challenging to work with. The fact Matt of the forearms has never invited her back on to Saturday Kitchen speaks volumes to me.

This article is an attempt to relaunch herself as a voice for addicts but in the same way she was a voice for the poor the whole thing won't add up.

His kid cooking show was miles better than hers and hes what 10.

Its ok not to be good at things. The problem lies with not be good at something and then claiming youre the dogs balls, whilst showing everyone that your incompetent.

She was trying to also say she was a woman trying to make her way in a mans world, but couldnt because they wouldn't give her a platform despite her being as good as them.. then she got a platform and proved them right that she wasn't capable. It didnt really have the desired effect of sticking it to the patriarchy that she hoped. Also noting the fact that mr forearms had to prompt her at times too.

Bit hard to trust a rehabilitation organisation that offers employment to someone at such an early stage of their treatment. They're exploiting her 'minor celebrity'. I'd advise people seeking help to give them a wide berth.

THIS ⬆⬆⬆⬆

I always start off feeling sorry for her, and it’s fantastic that a) she went to a rehab b) that she is doing further education and c) that she has a regular hours, part time job. However, she hasn’t stayed off twitter, she breadcrumbed all of that infirmation. She needs to stop blurting her personal life and every mundane thought on SM and maintain professional pages like ‘Mom’ (aka Nigella in Jack parlance)

Honestly, I find this article disappointing and specious. Yet again, she makes no mention at all of HOW this scrutiny really started - with the abominable rage fest and campaign against a blameless Jamie Oliver. She omits all the other bizarre pile-ons that she instigated on Twitter, against Walliams, the teacher, and various of her fans, including the data protection lady. She makes no mention of her breakup with LJC, what caused it (her erratic behaviour methinks) and how this impacted her. She fails to explain about her treatment of the sick and dying kitten, the morality of this, and how this would have affected others. She uses evasive, weasel words to place all blame for her MH and alcohol relapse here, when her constant social media over-use means that the entire globe can see the bullying, mistruths and inconsistencies - the vegans who were annoyed with her Del Monte campaign were not from here. Neither is data protection lady. Her poverty-origin story is also highly specious - she refers to herself as middle class in at least two articles online, yet she constantly pretends to have been raised poor. She doesn’t address the Patreon monies that she takes without giving proper service to the donors. She hasn't addressed the Kickstarter fiasco that her ex fans still mention to this day. What she does do is use her various diagnoses as a crutch and an excuse every single time; she very recently tweeted a complaint to the effect that she is criticised for the ADHD/autism behaviours and not given allowance for them. Yet she consistently appears to make zero effort to devise work-arounds to compensate for these known behaviours. She just expects to screw up, be rude, fail to deliver and everyone make allowance for her over and over again, suffering no consequences. The real world is not like that.

Anyone following her Twitter could see that she had relapsed as she obliquely referred to it, and there was talk of starting the days over from zero. How can this be laid at our door when (as she has already told us via SM) her mother said that Jack has been missing for SEVEN years. She has addiction and personality problems that she is well aware of - but no progress can be made unless she is scrupulously honest with herself.

Judging by this article, she is not, which is sad and doesn’t bode well for a full recovery.

(Soz for this lengthy screed - I truly am saddened. Just more of the same imho).
I think the seven years fits the Allegra timeline, Which would make sense.

Others have said their relationship had a weird vibe. And it was Jack who totally changed her life when she moved in with Allegra, before having it all taken away. Allegra, before Jack, during Jack after Jsck life continued the same

That must have been a bitter pill to swallow.

They wouldn't and shouldn't. Professional boundaries. Haven't been here in a while but see she's as self absorbed as ever.

I wonder if we should take this seven years with a large pinch of salt 🤔
Wonderful get out clause for behaviour going back years. How many versions of events and actions happened in that time space that can be now blamed on a sort of fugue state?

Particularly as she was writing very similar pieces, two I think, for the Guardian two years ago.
