I'm grunka-ing so this may have already been said but I'm almost certain the truth behind SB's "suspension" is that she was called to be told what happened, came in and as it would have likely been mid-afternoon by this point they said "You may as well take him home with you for the day" - ie saving her having to go to come back 30/45/60 mins later.Getting suspended from primary school usually requires serious rule breaking.

A member of my family had a psychotic episode, they sectioned her and she had to stay in hospital for some months. It was traumatic for all the family not just the person that was ill.
