I am an Aries and it has been eating me inside trying not to say so for over 30 pages
I am the Arian that kinda started it off. My apologies if it's annoyed any one, it's nice to me though, the whole chart is well represented by the cabal! ♥ We're the mofo stars ⭐

Back to Jack, I've seen no trolling from any of us, we can be a tad mean girls, but, it's all in jest, and even I have genuine concern for her not getting the right help/support irl, hence the chaos online. (She doesn't have to read us at all!) I've found this a lovely, supportive group, made up of all types of people. She can't stand being an eternal outsider, she's too narc to ever realise she is the crux of the situation.

She's just a silly sod, all in all.

Sometimes her speaking appearances remind me of that learning curve that many people have to go through when they age out of being a moody teenager. The one where you learn to say a simple thank you for a compliment instead of protesting too much (that you don't actually look nice that day, or whatever) because you realise it's ungracious and self indulgent to be too self effacing for too long. The way she goes on and on about how unprofessional she is is just another way to talk about herself. See also the disastrous pineapple live, when she continually makes comments like 'it's me so of course it's a shambles' etc. Instead of turning self depreciation into a way to connect with the audience members who feel insecure about cooking, she just thinks she is the subject of everything she does. She points everything back to herself.
I was thinking her self-depreciation didn’t land well because it only works coming from people who are truly talented, and they’re being humble, and they then go on to explain the actual work that goes into what they do. But what you said makes so much more sense!
Speaking of talented, cool people, Nigella is a Capricorn!

There have been trolls here occasionally, but when someone is taking it off Tattle, they get reported. Or when someone is unnecessarily cruel, they get slapped down. That's what drives Jack crazy - if we genuinely were sitting around going "she's a tattooed lesbian! White trash shouldn't breed!!" she'd send her Squiggle Army over here in a heartbeat.

the idea of letting a few simple ingredients stand out in a dish is a completely alien concept to her. Just keep adding stuff...can't go wrong!

ps i've already said i'm a gemini but my partner is a cancer...our dynamic is exactly what you would expect (sorry for kicking off the astrology crap...i just can't help myself I LOVE IT 😂)
Speaking of simple ingredients standing out. THAT MAN is on TV again and he has just made a delicious looking fried aubergine thing with a simple (tinned) cherry tomato pasta. It looks delicious and full of actual texture and flavour.

Ugh we had storage heaters and an "exotic meter" which used to cost us an absolute bomb. We're not on the mains gas line (sadly).

Our new house is oil which is annoying but a lot cheaper than before.

People don't have the option Jack!

(Also I'm a Scorpio MrLyricallie is a Gemini, I googled our compatibility and this came up: "They might not have a very stable zodiac compatibility". Might see if I can get our wedding deposit back...)

mr kcc: ooh, that looks lovely, you'd like that if you gave it a go

me: no, it looks gross. too many vegetables 🥴 *does kerry katona gif face*

mr kcc: well he likes it, he's doing his sausage gif face!

just a typical Monday night for a gemini and aquarius couple. although, of course, we air signs are far too lofty to believe in such nonsense 🙃

Had a similar experience at our NCT class, worst way I’ve ever spent £200 unfortunately. Hopefully we just got unlucky with our course leader. She basically said that any form of pain relief for the mother was selfish and would have detrimental effects on the child. I softly, gently, tried to rebut these untruths at the time but was luridly silenced.

One of the fathers was absolutely adamant that his wife would go through labour without any medical intervention; the poor woman ended up with an emergency section in the end and I’m sure he didn’t let it go for quite some time. Horrible. My birth plan basically read “give me all of the drugs” but unfortunately that didn’t happen, and I still haven’t felt up to walking through it in one of those reflection sessions. I’m really keen to have another child but my body and brain is still screaming nooooooo. Hopefully things will change soon!
Oh jfc that's absolutely horrible on both counts, especially for that poor woman :( really hope that he's either changed for the better or she's far, far away from that prick! I've heard so many horror stories concerning pregnancy and childbirth and have to wonder how people can be so smug and sadistic over something as precious as bringing a kid into the world??

I was told I was going to be induced because reasons and I’d shared it was a bit disappointing and the leader at NCT said ‘you know you don’t have to agree’ and I was quite shocked. I had asked the medical reasons and accepted them and felt that trying to put me off a medical recommendation (that was for mine and baby’s safety) was very irresponsible.

Oh, God.

Specialist subject on Mastermind right now - Alan Partridge.

Mr D skipped into the room when I told him and is now sitting down answering the questions before they've even finished.

tit. I just got an answer right.

By the way, the epidural for my section didn't take properly. I squawked on the incision, they turned up the drugs in my mask and once I'd calmed down and the additional anaesthesia had sort of taken effect, they lowered the screen so I could see her arse emerge from somewhere south of my enormous bump. Whilst others have to impress the doctor with their radiator ripping silent protest, all I had to do was wibble 'I want to see' and they took it down. I asked them outright (and politely) when in theatre for the second offspring's forceps delivery at the next hospital and they didn't bother putting it up in the first place. It's not a big deal for them to be asked for it. Meant child 2 was hoiked out and landed on my chest with an angry THUDDDDDD as there wasn't anything in the way.
