Oh God. This means something and it won't be good. There's an eco friendly cleaning products collab in the offing, I can feel it. I won't be able to restrain myself and will be all over the Insta comments saying "have you SEEN the crappy bungalow- sack everyone involved".

The sad thing about the LMcC debacle, is that they very much still keep the business (certainly on Insta) as a personal thing of the late lovely Linda’s. They often post old photos of her and her family, and it hasn’t moved far away from being her company. Like I’m sure loads of large businesses started out as small family run operations, but they usually outgrow that image and discard the personal side after a while. It’s a shame Jackie has come along with her slop, to besmirch the good name and high ethics that the company has strived for. It would have taken the PR booking person minutes to check up on Jack’s reputation and behaviour.

I totally agree as I love Linda Mc products and have for years, it’s a real shame they’ve made a snafu and have partnered with someone who is going to give the brand a bad rep. I do think it was done with the most honest intentions and my feeling is that Jack’s agent put her forward for this collab, provided articles from her brief vegan bandwagoning, her cook book, veggie and vegan recipes etc and touted her as a proper cook trying to reduce her meat intake. Without doing a proper deep dive and finding somewhere like here where all the receipts are collated It would be difficult to find contrary info about what she’s really like, because she bleeping deletes everything every 6 weeks or when her newest fake personality is ready to be born. The response from LM has been disappointing because there are plenty of legit complaints, but then maybe Jack gave them her spiel about being picked on and bullied for 10 years It won’t put me off continuing to buy Linda Mc foods, but I do hope she is just dropped from that collab very soon because she’s an unethical head with tit recipes.

That was the only thing I didn't like either. Definitely don't want my bedroom smelling like

That nook with the log burner would be my favourite reading corner. And by reading corner I obviously mean Tattling corner.

LMcC Foods is owned by a US conglomerate? Hain Celestial/Hain Daniels (Owners of such businesses as Hartley's, Sun-Pat, Ella's Kitchen, Gale's Honey, Robertson's, Jason's Organics, etc, etc - it's not a teeny tiny little family company - they also make stuff for supermarket own brands. OK, they're not actually Unilever, as they specialise in things branded as organic/healthy/wellness/whatever, but it is just another huge company that owns brands, not a cosy little family business that still chats about the days when Linda would do something lovely.

I'm enjoying spying on the Linda McCartney insta comments - that big vegan account is not letting it go and because no one in LMc PR is bothering to acknowledge the comments, the squiggles have resorted to recommending alternative brands to each other! So a LMc promo is ending up with comments about how great the competitor products are and where they are currently on offer.

Nnnnnggggg just looked it all up! Wtf. I can’t actually believe that a company can be sold to a massive conglomerate but still use the family’s images to sell products! I mean, yes I suppose I can believe it, but still.... I haven’t looked into it enough to find out if the family still have a stake in the current business or not. How grimy. I’m not even saying they necessarily should have run the business as a family forever and ever, but the way they use her wholesome image this long after they sold it is not on IMO. God I must sound like a naive child

The open plan bedroom/bathroom freaked me out.

The guy was so hardworking. Loved how he also built a house for his mum and stepdad. They just all seemed like really decent people, I was rooting for them.
