I read something here recently where she said she made the right decision in who she chose to have a baby with, suggesting the pregnancy was planned? Didn't she also previously say she had planned to have a child and her family were against it?
She said that (I think) in relation to the chippy tea that SBs dad brought home about a month ago. It's her roundabout way of thanking him without saying 'thankspaceyou'.
He obviously gets pissed off with being cast as the baddie in her poverty porn cosplay story so she throws out the odd backhanded compliment every now and then.
She also said she had a miscarriage previous to SB. But, like all things with her, no bugger knows the truth.

I'm off to bed, leaving yous with this from the archives: a charming description of who Jack makes birthday cakes for. Lovely.

Considering that Jack usually speaks in Americanese (as they are her "second biggest audience" or whatever), I read this with a slightly different interpretation 😂

Oh just caught up on the thread and saw that @Pocahontas had already mentioned this 😂

Isn’t it a bit odd that a food writer (who presumably is hoping that her food appeals to as many people as possible so that she gets more followers and sells more books) includes the following words in a single post about a cake:

joke
hate
tit
trash fire
fanny
throw up
stress eaten
violently ill

She’s got a VERY weird relationship with food.

She definitely said SB's dad was a client. It was in that 'anonymous' interview about DV.
She called herself 'Sam' in it and how she was frowned upon by other lesbians because she was pregnant.
It said something along the lines of..What they don't know is that Sam had been forced to work as a prostitute...
Something like that anyways. Came out later that the anonymous 'Sam' was Jack
I thought the story was that they worked together at a cafe and were besties but got drunk one night and had some fun. 🧐

Yes.

In the DV thing, she never explicitly said he was a client but again, it was heavily implied.

PS re: Hilaria...it's weird, because Americans often don't seem to grasp that Spain is a European country largely populated by white people, so in a US context it can appear more appropriative than if she was pretending to be, say, Swedish or something. I find it hilarious...the names she's saddled those poor kids with are names that would never be used in Spain. It's hard to explain, but it's like if she pretended to be Scottish and called her son Angus Jock Duncan, you know?

Yes! This is exactly what I remember. It didn't straight out say she got pregnant from sex work but it definitely brought up the fact she was a sex worker directly after saying something like "how does a lesbian get pregnant". Probably very carefully worded not to be an actual lie

Will the schools in Southend on sea be closed till at least mid January ? Expect plenty more excuses for the to do list not being completed. No wonder the area has covid so bad when a chippie is a essential item 😡

The Hillaria story is so funny, it’s been a welcome distraction from all the Covid misery.

Back to Jack, there are so many different variants to her back story, she’s a sick fantasist.

That's been my understanding. Had no idea about a sex worker/client storyline?

I find the Hilaria story hilarious, also because her name almost sounds like 'hilarious' (I might be pronouncing it wrongly though).

I'm sorry to be spamming you with Kickstarter Khaos, but I'm reading the comments and it's only just dawning on me just how long the grifting has been going on. The kickstarter predates the Katie Hopkins thing, the crappy bungalow (possibly by one other RENTED place) and the election where she was going to stand as an candidate o_O
The comments section of the kickstarter just about replicates this Tattle forum. She's never going to change and she's never going to get called out on it. View attachment 365275
“I could have bashed out something crappy, to meet the deadline”.
... but instead she bashed out something crappy two years after the deadline.
The brass neck on her. 😡

Yes. SB won’t be going back to school until 18 January. Thanks superspreaders.. aka JM and LC.

I was googling Jack, and came upon a BBC Sounds play purporting to tell her backstory. It is extremely confusing, even allowing for artistic licence. I am posting it. It is due to be removed from the site in 5 days. And, btw, I am sure you must have a BBC licence to listen!😲 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b0790hpb
I think that was posted a while ago but I still can't listen to the mockney voice. (I accessed it without a BBC licence btw).
Silly old BBC for falling for this ludicrous tale 😬

I listened to the first ten minutes of the podcast. Its peak Monroe. She boasts about how well it's selling, but that she gets some/lots (unclear) negative reviews by readers complaining about her using tinned tomatoes in too many recipes or tinned hot dogs. But aren't those readers stupid? It's called TIN CAN COOK and she still gets the royalties so she doesn't care about the negativity.

I have never heard a writer start off an interview by telling the interviewer about negative feedback from readers but how it doesn't matter, because the readers have paid for the book so the writer is now quids in.

Btw, every writer gets bad reviews, some are ridiculous and I would agree that complaining about too many tins in a tin-based cookery book is silly, but why bring it up, unprompted, in an interview? Why?
I listened to the whole thing (tbf it was only 20 mins long but somehow felt longer) and she mentions late night emails criticising her a few more times. Total bullshit stories where needless to say she has the last laugh. There's a bizarre bit where she boasts about her next three books, then gets stuck on number 3 (which is apparently already written) as she can't remember what it is about.

It’s my due date today and the ‘Angus Jock Duncan’ almost made me wet myself. So it turns out, even though both my husband and I are Scottish, we had no idea that it’s traditional to have a Steak Pie on Hogmanay. I asked my Mum this morning but she said in her family, “It wasn’t the done thing.” 😂 I wondered why the local butchers was advertising the BIGGEST pies I’ve ever seen in my life. Proper Roald Dahl sized.
Wonder what Jack’s New Year Resolutions are going to be? Or if she has any traditions? Eating everything in the fridge with a spoon? Making sure SB tidied her room and counts the sausages in the freezer?

(Re Hilaria - were her parents not at the wedding? I found it hilarious at first too but then realised how much of her success is owed to this identity she’s created. She even did a post about being mistaken for the nanny of her own children 🤢 For a lot of non white women this is every day life. But OMG, the 30 Rock episode with ‘Phoebe’.)

I know she's a non-entity but why don't people twig? Most people don't have a past that changes with each new telling of it.
