So she did! Bit rich her talking about being authentic and passionate  in her samsung ad. She's had years to turn herself around into a brand friendly person if that's what she wanted to do but she'd rather be a keyboard warrior and stick out a begging bowl.

Even when she got the BBC show she tweeted just to tell people not to harass Hopkins, I don't think anyone was and it was just another way to try to cause a pile on and remind people. She never owns her shady behaviour and is ever the hypocrite.
Go back and sit in an office for 8.5 hours a day? When she ever do that? Is she bleating about when she was a call handler eleventy ten years ago??

I'd rather eat Jack's lasagne
You are braver than me.

I agreed with how she handled the KH thing. KH was being appaling. That is true harrassment - sending her thousands of followers to JM on a complete fabrication. And yes, she did offer her a way out. KH deserved everything she got.

However, what KH did is in no way comparable to what happens on this thread.

A) this is an anonymous forum, so no one is riling up thousands of followers to attack her
B) the vast majority of people here do not engage with JM directly at all
C) it's made clear that everything is speculation (and the only reason we are on thread 10 now is that she give us soooo much on social media to work with. Let's compare it to JO - it would be quite hard to have a lengthy thread like this going for a few weeks, because he keeps his private stuff private)
D) tweets and posts are screenshot for posterity and she has been caught in many inconsistencies on here (limegoss article). These are facts, not fabrications
E) very occasionally someone on here posts something deeply unpleasant (the he/she/it comment) and gets called out on it immediately. Rightly so.

The criticism of her has been based on what she does/tells the world about herself. If you are in the public eye, and constantly make big and bold statements (you are transgender, you are vegan, you are immunocompromised), you should not be surprised that people listen and ask questions. If you don't want to answer them, that's fine. You don't have to. You also need to accept that some people don't like your food. That's within their rights.

I've mentioned this before. I've published a few books. When I first started selling them and got some reviews on amazon, I couldn't wait to read them. I was hooked on them. When some were negative, it really destroyed me. I wanted to respond. I knew it was unprofessional for an author to respond, so I didn't. I felt anxious for a few weeks about it all and then made the decision, as an adult, that those reviews were none of my business. They were written for other readers. I have an editor who gives me feedback on my work. I trust her and respect her feedback. A review is not feedback to the writer, it's helpful for the reader. I have not read a review of any of my books since. Social media comments you are not tagged in are not for you. There are for other social media users.

Jack, I strongly encourage you to stay away from this forum and come up with a social media strategy that keeps your professional and private life separate. For your own sanity, stop mixing the two.
Fabulous post, also fabulous career !! IA 100% it’s taken a lot of learning but other people’s opinions of us are never our business!

I’ve shared about this before but a millennia ago my husband won like... the equivalent of Wimbledon for his sport (please note, NOT Wimbledon 😂) and I had to grow up so quickly as a result of the media stuff we were suddenly put through, particularly social media tbh. I was young and gobby and thoroughly south London and it took us arguing non stop for me to refrain from being like John Fury and sending for witches via video message. I’m glad I never rose to it because his “legacy” has been massively shaped by how nice he is, particularly because of how he handled the attention and the stuff he does for the community now. And I easily could have fucked that because I wanted to tell someone he’s the clapped one not my sweetie?? Is it worth it?

For us it boils down to: do you want a legacy like Sali Hughes or Mother or Daughters who fucked their career (moreso the latter) and are in constant turmoil, or do you wanna be a booked n busy queen rising above it? Block the websites, ignore the chatter, manage your social media as part of your 9-5 and duck it off otherwise. Go read in ur shed or lovely garden, or go for a walk down the sea front it’s gorge.

This is the HUGE difference between Jack and Jamie I'm afraid.
I know Jamie has his empire and has all his people working for him producing stuff and essentially helping to make him more money.
BUT that's what running a business is all about. And that's what Jamie Oliver the Chef is. He's a brand name and a business. And so he runs everything as such.
He doesn't spout tit on social media, keeps his private life (relatively) private and rarely voices a strong opinion on anything unless there's some link into one of his numerous campaigns, which lets face it have all been very successful and have had a big impact generally.
Jack calls THAT MAN but deep down, she's incredibly jealous, bitter and knows that her brand simply isn't that appealing to the masses.
I've said it before but she has a niche and she needs to stick to that and stop dragging everything and everyone else into it with her twitter rants.
She cant compare herself to Jamie Oliver. It's like comparing fillet steak to tinned peaches.

When people see red, lawyers see green. There was a lot of very distasteful tweets after that. Thing like buying a new sofa and saying look what Katie bought. Everything has to be in the limelight, nothing quiet. Everyone has to know what is going on in every aspect of her life. When my husband saw that pic the other day of her taking a bath, called her a heathen for not putting any bubbles in it.
I thought she donated it but couldn’t find anything anywhere, did she really tweet that sort of thing?! How vulgar

It was around the same time that she tweeted that her superkingsized bed from Next was delayed and was asking her twatties where she could find one quickly. I do believe the consensus was John Lewis. Tweet gone, of course.

I was only thinking yesterday, it's quite astounding how much of her life is out there on the internet. Whether in articles, social media, her own blog; there's literally so much information out there, that she has chosen to put out there. Makes her statement that we know tit about her quite funny really.

FFS a starter is equal parts flour and water. You don’t need anything other that patience.
