Glad there appears to be widespread condemnation of Gareth’s decision but when are journalists actually going to ask him the difficult questions? Southgate was a defensive player, so he will always chose to play them defensively.
I'm sorry but we are like 2 generations moved on from that style of play.

I agree with a comment I saw on twitter - if Southgate extends his contract and is in charge while these young players are reaching their prime he is going to waste an awful lot of talent!

I honestly don't get how people who spend that sort of money on something like that have a conscience every time I'd put it on I'd just think of how that much money could completely change so many peoples life or go towarss providing treatment for someone who is I'll. I'd just feel totally guilty wearing it!
