It wasn’t that long ago that everything you and many are saying on here was being said about gay and lesbian people. Utterly uneducated and hate filled vitriol.
This is such a lazy lazy lazy poorly educated response. Let me guess you've never considered women's rights or safety....in fact you're brain washed.
How can womens' rights be compared to being homophobic? How have you managed to even bother with such a tangent comparison.
Many gay and lesbian men and women are fed up just like heterosexual Men and women with the 'woke' ridiculousness.
James Dreyfus and Boy George are 2 gay men how have put their head above the parapet.

As for this being an echo chamber. Has it ready got to this that in 2020 women discussing women's rights is slated and laughed at (I'm assuming by other women).

There are two main differences between the cases:
1. JK Rowling is a woman, and Polanski and Allen are men. No further explanation needed.
2. The people who are upset and so called victimised by Rowling are trans/men. The REAL victims of Polanski and Allen were women and children. And we all know who matters more in the eyes of the 'woke' 😑

It's all incredibly childish, but that's the only way the trans activists know how to act. Forever throwing tantrums and name-calling. They haven't a leg to stand on in any real adult discussion about the issue.
I am the proud owner of a ban from Digitalspy for saying something similar. That men are never told they are 'people with prostates' or told what they should call themselves. Its just natal women and girls who have to accommodate all the time. And Daniel Radcliffe has no place apologising on behalf of an adult woman. But the Twitterati dont care about that. Let them stay in their echo chamber.

It's only male entitlement and arrogance that would have someone demand women accept men who 'feel' they are women.
I'd never ever dream of shouting men down and saying they must accept F2M trans as men. And that's without the danger women who are forced into with potential trans women.....who are men.

So men are telling women to shut the fuck up and accept men in to their spaces. And sadly many women are so brain washed they are actually helping the misogyny and male oppression. It's beyond dystopian!

The whole trans women facing so much oppression, Domestic violence (which is male on male) discrimination is forever the narrative and constantly thrust into the public sphere because guess what it's a man's issue pushed by men!

If it were a female issue it would be buried or better still women would be shat on from a great height. This is clearly seen when women don't accept the misogynistic narrative and fight for justice....we are called bitches, TERFS , transphobic

Believe me men are NOT at the bottom of the pile in any way.
I suspect once people find out that their daughters are having to share changing rooms and toilets with a physically intact teenage boy and have to compete with male athletes their eyes will be open in a way it hasn't been by having vulnerable women in prisons and refuges at risk because they aren't on their radar. The woke on Twitter are a minority. They shut down debate so they think they are speaking for everyone. FWIW I dont mind unisex cubicles either, as long as its everyone. All I have seen is mens toilets and unisex toilets. What about mtf trans men? Or do they not count?

Rupert Grint is easily the best actor out of the three in my opinion.
I’ve always thought that. Ron was my favourite character. I was annoyed that a lot of his parts from the book were reduced to the odd “bloody hell!”, and felt that EW dominated the movies. She over-acts/is the same in everything and she wasn’t the right fit for Hermione. DR ... well, his choice of projects hasn’t been great, has it? He will never shed the HP image, and now he’s just thrown the author under the bus.

Someone has convinced you that your womanhood and women’s spaces are in jeopardy because 1% of the popular have the right to live how they please, with the dignity and respect everyone else receives.
Please tell me what is 'womanhood' means?
And yes I will fight for my space to be safe regardless of whether it is 1% or fucking 99% of men encroaching on it!

Excuse me but you're talking absolute crap like most of the people spouting this vile and hateful nonsense.

In no way are trans people erasing gay and lesbian people that's hilarious. It's not a competition!! I'm pretty certain most LGBT people stand united they certainly wouldn't side with your outdated and small-minded views.

I feel sorry for some of the people on here. I hope you get well soon. The confusion and fixation on trans people is bizarre to me.

Trans people are literally just trying to get on with their lives they aren't trying to attack or take over anything. These are the same narratives that supposed "feminists" use time and time again.

Transpeople will not be erased, they have always existed and their voices will be heard.

This thread reeks of white supremacy and entitlement.

So I am spouting hate for protecting women?

Anyone bothered to YouTube Riley Dennis?
He's an advocate of the 'i am a beautiful lesbian but have a dick' brigade.

He is especially nasty
I don't want to make any comment on anyone's appearance but dayum that face tho

"Your dating preferences are discriminatory.'' Hmmmmm...
I know a hell of a lot of men who wouldn't want to date someone like Riley with a big ole Adam's apple and a moustache, but yet again when do you hear about men being given a hard time for not wanting to get with trans people (not that they should)? It is literally always women/lesbians who are given a hard time for not wanting to be with trans people.

These links you are posting are isolated incidents involving trans people. They are horrific I agree but they do NOT represent all trans people.

There are horrific news stories around the world involving men, women, trans people, children. These individuals don't represent the entire human race.

These scare tactics are belittling and highly offensive. Instead of accepting people as humans you are shoving them into categories and assigning them beliefs and behaviours which are completely false.

I am not trying to be remotely 'woke' I am simply speaking out against your aggressive and hateful words.

Not at all. If we allow an encroachment of women and their spaces we have literally no where to go/escape/be safe.

The woke community need to wake the fuck up.

A genuine question for those who think I'm a bigot and transphobic....if you were the beautician faced with waxing a pair of hairy balls what would you do?
Knowing full well if you say no you'll be accused of being transphobic and possibly losing your job. So what would you do?

A shame? I think it’s a disgrace! I know newspapers have their own agendas and leanings but I don’t expect them to omit the truth, even if they want to put their own spin on it (Guardian) or just simply refuse to report on it even though it’s a huge story (Guardian).

It’s got the point now that whenever I link to the G I apologise for doing it in the style of “sorry, it’s a Fail link”
The guardian has been a cesspit of misogyny for years, sadly

men are never told they are 'people with prostates'
Finally caught up with everything and to be honest in total agreement with most of everything being said here. But on this point I just wanted to add that there was a TeenVogue article in the last couple years or something that got A LOT of heated debate because it was about how to have anal sex. It got heat for a number of different reasons but one of them was that in the article it mentioned "prostate havers".

Again though, in that article in place of the word female body or woman, women are defined as "non prostate havers" or something like that which again just defines the female body only in relation to a male body.

It’s a further problem when you realise that most transgender ideology and charities now believe that transgender does not mean you have gender dysphoria or even have to attempt to present as the opposite sex. If you say you are, you are. So a bearded, male-looking person can say he’s a woman and that’s that. Isn’t that troubling?
I've just found an article of a Dr in Cardiff who identifies as a woman, hasn't had surgery and has a full beard!!!

If a cis woman had a full beard she would be subject to ridicule!!!

I get my face threaded. Cos of lockdown, I used a hair removal cream - burnt my face 😢😢😢

This is what I take the issue with. I think the whole thing actually stinks of misogyny and trans activists appear to absolutely hate biological/Cis women.

Thanks for reducing us to a bodily function, The Body Shop. Shall we just call all people with a penis “Ejaculators”?

Fs. Stop the world, I want to get off... 🙄

So I just went down a bit of a rabbit hole. I saw the huge amount of support for Daniel Radcliffe on the TwoXChromosomes subreddit and was so disheartened. I went to the comments and someone was bringing up many of the points we're making here and she asked for people to rebuff them. Top comment was a link to this video:

I genuinely tried to watch it, I am open to hearing people say their piece but straight from the start "she" was sarcastic, passive aggressive and doing OTT impressions of these awful, hysterical women questioning trans ideology. I couldn't make it past 7 mins and even that was hard.

I do hope that there's just these clusters of trans ideologists that exist online and most of the real world live in reality. It's reassuring to hear people in this thread as I feel like Tattle is largely apolitical unlike Twitter and even Reddit.

(If anyone else wants to use their time to watch the video and can actually get through it, please let me know if any logical arguments are actually raised or if the whole thing is just nasty, snotty jokes and costumes.)

I've been in this rabbit hole for a while now and at this point I see TERF as a badge of honour. Much like "anti-fascist" or something

This thing with SK happens over and over. Man supports “TERF” in public... man gets flamed... man gets asked “are trans women women?”... man panics and says yes.

Same with Jonathan Ross (well, his kids bollocked him) and same with Ricky Gervais. Of course they don’t believe it, but they can’t face the backlash.

Remember, even JKR herself rapidly backpedalled when she “liked” a TERF-Y tweet and blamed it on a “senior moment”. Took her a LONG time to come back with guns blazing, but boy am I glad she did.
