A bathroom per bedroom or a larger one shared between 2. Guest loo downstairs is a given. Unless it’s a really old home or something.
Seriously. Americans would be horrified at the size of my bathroom and about how many people have to share it! Maybe not those who live in NYC.I doubt they just have one bathroom. That’s a shockingly inconvenient U.K. thing.
Our downstairs toilet is larger than our upstairs bathroom, I will never ever get my head around it!Seriously. Americans would be horrified at the size of my bathroom and about how many people have to share it! Maybe not those who live in NYC.
One of my first flats was a in a converted building. To get to the shower you had to sit on the toilet, swivel your legs between it and the sink that was against the wall but stuck out squarely in the middle of the tiny room, and then shut the door, which wouldn't open all the way anyway because of the sink of courseSeriously. There was still an outside loo by the kitchen when we moved in here (old house). It’s now inside the house thanks to doing a kitchen renovation - check out how fancy we areOur downstairs toilet is larger than our upstairs bathroom, I will never ever get my head around it!
This makes more sense - however still removal of privacy in the house for people (Ioan)according to public records the house has 2.5 bathrooms
Real estate listing says 3 bathrooms.I doubt they just have one bathroom. That’s a shockingly inconvenient U.K. thing.
Yep! Sounds very familiar. Our “family” bathroom is maybe 2x2m (guessing) and if you open the drawer under the sink it bangs into the toilet. One of my first flats was a in a converted building. Well she has no respect for any other boundaries - why would bathroom privacy matter? This makes more sense - however still removal of privacy in the house for people (Ioan)

Super happy to have you back Claude, Claudie, Claudster. (I can call her that cause I'm her bestie!)
We still have the outside loo by the kitchen with no plans to bring it insideThere was still an outside loo by the kitchen when we moved in here (old house). It’s now inside the house thanks to doing a kitchen renovation - check out how fancy we are. Very small though.
Toneranger BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!It's pretty unfair you have to explain yourself like that tomonkeyspeople who can't be bothered to read through all of the comprehensive material/receipts already gatheredAnd alice/toneranger/Ashley - show me where anyone has laughed at real medical issues & I'll show you some sympathy. On the other hand don't bother, you stay on twatter & we'll stay here. Thanks.
Tbh, AE's house looks very small to me. But I live in a countryish area where it's all about the acreage babes! My niece's house is a prefab double wide with 2 and a half baths and my sister's in the city has a pool 4x the size of AE's. I realize Hollywood is very expensive but I've really been shocked seeing pictures of her house. I have a studio in a 300 year old house in the middle of our good sized village sitting on 2 acres. I was super shocked seeing how close the houses are where she lives! But I'm born, raised and always move back to the same village so houses close together make me itch lol!according to public records the house has 2.5 bathrooms
Last thread someone posted the sale history and I crunched the numbers. The house is tiny by Australian standards, and the block is the size of a typical suburban block here. They must be living on top of each other. Not sure how big it is in terms of LA house sizes!Tbh, AE's house looks very small to me. It seems to be on a par with every other one in that street anyway.Last thread someone posted the sale history and I crunched the numbers. I admit to a certain naivete. I've been to California but silly me assumed the way AE acts - ha ha - they lived in a mansion next door to Taylor Swift. I guarantee MOST of their wealth is considered that house.Last thread someone posted the sale history and I crunched the numbers.
