I'm wondering if Ioan has tried to speak to the girls on the phone during Gloria's school runs and she's been unhelpful.

Well the pap shots from the last few weeks are all in LA and there’s some recent photos from the last couple of weeks where he’s taken the girls out. Maybe there was a period where he didn’t see them but he’s Definitely seen them recently. Unless the daily fail article is way off (which lets be honest could be the case!)

There was some similarity I think, but closer up I think it's one of Alice's brothers.

Just what the actual fuck am I witnessing on this thread? The views being presented today are just as misogynistic as what the FMs are coming up with.

Ioan’s views regarding Paris and Britney were unfortunately of their time when it was actually deemed fair game and acceptable to rib these girls for their choices, their public perception was often orchestrated by the media. They were young girls in a big world with little to no guidance. Look at the evidence now, Britney was a workhorse with MH issues and Paris was emotionally and mentally abused for years by her own parents and educators - you really think they’re going to be making adult decisions at a very not-adult age with limited life skills?

In my eyes, Paris and Britney weren’t sluts, and still aren’t. The whole sex tape thing is a foul misjudgement, it was revenge porn but I’m glad that misogyny again plays a part in pointing the video of responsibility and blame. Obviously sarcasm.

Whilst I think Ioan is wrong for what he said, he is a product of his environment. A conservative upbringing and a man trying to be seen and heard in a time where making wild misogynistic digs was perfectly acceptable. I would hope that now if asked again his views were different, but even if they don’t differ - the world has changed in a way that we’re not front paging slut accusations and that would hopefully bode well for his daughters and their decisions.

A ramble but bloody hell this thread has been gross recently.

Don't recall AE ever bragging about the achievements of her dad & uncle but narcs can be jealous of other's success unless it reflects on them, like
big E being an A pupil (then the subtle put down about little E) she recently mentioned her mum making passive-aggressive comments/put downs so *if* her mum was a narc she wouldn't have been shown healthy boundaries, along with possibly witnessing controlling (coercive) behaviour that worked it could reinforce to a child that it's a successful way to manipulate others. Her dad being so successful would have been absorbed with his work & maybe over compensated for any absences by spoiling his only daughter especially if she was a daddy's girl? She was definitely spoiled.
I don't know many parents who wouldn't move house just because their young daughter threw a massive hissy fit as she didn't want to move.
Maybe she saw her mum behave in similar ways & saw that it worked, coupled with nobody ever saying no to her, then that could have reinforced her feeling she can do the same & behave however she wants. ???

He's not normally this bad, he can be a pretty decent actor normally. Dunno what went wrong here.

Based on the replies to this on Twitter, I do believe the big upset is about the house and AE having to leave. Someone mentioned that her security had been taken away and mentioned the home. The NZ person agreed. I do wonder if IG has stated his intention to buy her out and she's been notified she will have to vacate.

AE mentioned that she will get $300K. She said she was looking for places in that price range some time ago.That leaves me to believe that she gets 30% of what IG paid for the house, not the current value. I believe she'd get more than that and was likely being overly dramatic. The house was purchased for $1.5M. She's mentioned the 30% before. The house is now worth somewhere around $2.5 M. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Does this mean that they don't have to wait until the divorce is settled to finalize the house part?

Whoa, who called them sluts? I didn't see that anywhere. I understand that they have had problems in their lives. We all have. Sluts probably have had bad problems in their lives too. I think that shaming someone because they're a working girl so they can feed their family, or strip to pay their way through college or whatever..is not the same as saying (in the late 90s) that you were of the opinion that two women weren't good role models.
