I can tell you from personal experience welfare check can be horrible. I'd been drinking one night, and the next morning I put on Facebook I feel like I'm going to die today. I was talking to a friend of mine and I was talking about from a hangover. Well, my sister saw that post but did not see the part about drinking. She called my mom and my mom called the police to do a welfare check. I was in my back room with the TV up loud because my heater is loud. I never heard anybody knock on any door. I have three. Next thing I know I get a call telling me to come out with my hands up. I thought it was a joke at first, and then he said no look out your window from side to side. I have a fenced in yard and there was cops on each side with their guns drawn pointing at my house. I asked them why they were here, why they were pointing guns at me, and what did they think I'd done. Nobody would tell me anything but to come out with my hands up. I asked him if they had a warrant, and when they said no, I refuse to come out. Told them I was fine to go away. Well that got the SWAT team in my driveway. All my neighbors out on their porches looking , cop cars turned sideways on my street blocking traffic. My life will never be the same. I'm a pretty normal person, but I'm the crazy person on the street now. Every time I think about it I get rage at my mother all over again I wouldn't do it to a dog.
