I'm trying to figure out if the pleading poverty, homelessness and starvation is a tactic to shame Ioan into funding her lifestyle 100% or a way to provoke a reaction of removing the children to an environment where they will have shelter and food which she can then spend the rest of her life ranting about.

He clearly can't give her 20k per month as per her expected amount.

The other thing I notice is that Alice goes on about the actors strike and she can’t work because of it. Yet her ex husband also can’t work because of it but he should give her all this money still. She is likely grifting from people who are also on the strike. Unbelievable entitlement. Renting a $6500 a month BH apartment and using a nanny was her decision, and her decision alone.

The issue I have is that even if she works the money won’t even cover her rent. Rent is $80k per year so she needs to make about $130k just to cover rent. That is about double the teachers wage, or even triple ?
How is she going to make enough money to cover her expenses? She can’t really sell more stories. She realistically needs to make over $300k per year to maintain the lifestyle she demands. How?

Unfortunately anyone that gave Alice good sound advice and warned her were then stalked, abused and set on. I don’t think Alice wants to work this out. She had to have known she couldn’t afford Gloria and that apartment. She knew it would come to this and she went along with it anyway, to the point of removing Elsie from a school against the court orders. She is doing this for revenge and she’s using her kids mental health in the process. Child abuse plain and simple.

I actually think even a 55 year old could bag a rich man. Maybe not in her age range, but perhaps a bit older.

Besides wanting someone young and sexy the number one priority for rich men is having someone that causes no trouble to them. They just need to google her in order to walk far away. And if you already dont have the golden standards (thin, young, etc.) you are then without a chance.

It all comes back to her being inept to keep it (largely) zipped. You pay the price.

I think she is trying to publicly shame him, which isn’t going to change the math. But I’m livid that she keeps referencing being hungry and out on the streets - those girls have to be terrified, while mom (using that term loosely) plays shame games.

If she had kept the details of her divorce quiet she would have had options now. She was trying to cleave him to her for reasons of revenge or whatever and strategically missed a trick, thought short term rather than what would happen to her over the long term. When they parted she thought she could get him back. When someone tells you they would rather die then stay married to you, you know your marriage has ended. But she thought she could frighten him into staying. Because of her unrestrained behaviour future romantic or employment prospects will be few. Life is difficult enough without dealing with people like Alice. Not sure how this is going to pan out.

A quick google of Alice and I would never give her a job in any role or in any field. I would not let a property to her either. I wouldn’t let her stay for a bit whilst she was looking.

Ioan gave 2 decades to helping her out. Gave her a place to stay when she was homeless and she never moved out. Financially supported her when she couldn’t get work, until she never tried to work. Helped her get work via his network of friends until he lost his network of friends. Funded nannies and help so she didn’t have to parent until she stopped him parenting. Covered up for her crappy behaviour towards others until she turned it on him.

duck knows what Walden‘s motives are for standing by Alice. But she is crappy journalist married to an even shittier journalist who have all lied and fucked people over to further their careers and make money. A review of her book on George best whom she is only supposed to have met for a few days.

Will we get to see the schedules detailing how much he's actually paid to her (or on her behalf where he was paying her bills) for he past three years? I hope so.
Will be interesting for all her actual RL friends to see how much she has lied to them about this and no doubt conned them out of financial support on the back of it.

I wonder how many RL friends she both has and who have been supporting her. She's an abuser to the very core of her being, and I'd imagine she's run through and run off a score of friends over the years through her abuse and grifting.
