Backtracking in the thread as I wanted to comment earlier but wasn’t sure what I wanted to say. Yes, Alice has a weight problem but I don’t think we should make fun of it. I am probably not the only one here that has weight issues and it’s an anxiety trigger for me.

I used to be nearly 18 stone and over a few years got down to 12 stone. Then I had my fall and broke my back. I truly believe that given the severity of my injury that if I had fallen with that extra weight I would have been paralysed.

Somehow, 21 months on and two major surgeries I haven’t put weight back on, but it’s still a thing in my head that I am still overweight.

I will criticise Alice until the cows come home, but weight is off limits to me. My anxiety triggers get me so much. Not moderating, just giving my POV.

I agree with you. My post was just expressing my disgust that Alice's actions have affected Bianca's health, as stated in court, and then Alice also makes fun of B's weight while causing B stress. It's horrible behavior and Alice should be ashamed of herself.

I'm going to say it's Alice who has caused all this.

It was Alice who made her divorce into a public spectacle by throwing a tantrum on social media, and posting defamatory and outrageous things which caught the attention of the media.

It was Alice who showed her younger daughter a story in the tabloids about her divorce, thereby upsetting her - and then Alice posted about that on social media.

It was Alice who's been using her daughters as pawns, exposing them to media attention and manipulating them, even against their own father.

I saw that in DM this morning. Waited until the youngest was 18. He has mummy issues and they always seemed more friends to me. Hopefully he can lead his life they way he wants to.

off-topic kinda but I hate this thinking, not only are you exposing your children to a bad marriage (and thus make it more likely that they will experience the same themselves later on), but you also overshadow their entry into adult life.

One of my classmates in high school had their father commit suicide two days after her graduation (a few weeks after she turned 18 too), it turned out that the parents had started divorce proceedings in the lead up to this behind her back. I'm willing to bet that the father would be still alive if they had just seperated organically a few years earlier instead of dragging their marriage until he was full depressed. This and my own experience with my parents refusing to just get divorced makes me just hate the whole idead of "staying together for the kids"

obviously this stuff can work if you are rich enough to afford giant houses and/or you are constantly travelling etc etc, so it may be easier and less damaging for celebs. But Alice/Ioan arent that category anyway.

Granted, in hindsight I doubt not seperating would have turned out much worse for the kids now that everyone knows how she handles a seperation, but I suspect Ioan would have ended up like my friends' father in that scenario.

His daughter was the one who refused to see him. When a visit was finally arranged, she had a meltdown, threw the world's biggest tantrum, and ran away. Then, she filed for a restraining order against him.

Clearly, their relationship is damaged--of course he wants some professional help in trying to repair it. How is this so difficult to grasp?

Bianca looks great. It is true that she's lost quite a bit of weight since her relationship with Ioan was revealed.

It could be because of the MS and her strict diet to mitigate its effects, or it could be because of stress from Alice and the whole situation. It could be because of Hollywood beauty standards. It could be something else entirely.

Whatever the reason, Alice is disgusting for making comments about her weight and giving her pathetic, bitter nicknames which reference her weight. Particularly when Alice might be the cause of the weight loss.

Yup. And woe betide them if they end up having strong noses like Ioan, and indeed Alice's original nose, as we know what Alice thinks of any nose that isn't a tiny ski slope.

Alice will also insult them if they're not thin, but also, if they're very skinny.

She'll also insult them if they resemble Ioan too much ("you look just like your cheating evil father!").

Basically Alice will pick upon any aspect of their appearance when she gets in a rage with them, or if she feels they have betrayed her.

I think as they get older she will see them as competition and she will be making constant sly little digs and those nasty "jokes" she'd make about Ioan to them and in front of their friends all the time. She's a nasty bully at the core of her being - she doesn't need to be angry or think she's been betrayed to be cruel to others.

I had a look in the mirror and realised that, despite chemotherapy earlier this year, I've got about twenty times the amount of hair that Alice has and, despite being ten years older, I look younger and more pleasant. Of course, my only drugs are prescription (free thanks to our socialist Scottish government...) and I've discovered that the alcohol-free mixed-fruit Kopparberg cider tastes just as good as the alcoholic one, so I probably have as many units a year as Malice has in a week if not a day. I also don't have crap plastic surgery and badly done fillers.
