Alice is two years younger than my mum was when they started drinking heavily and became an alcoholic. Dead within 2-3yr. The middle aged female body doesn’t cope well with it: you rarely see an elderly female alcoholic.

The current situation with Ioan is taking all her focus and giving her something to rage against. Once it’s finally drawn to a close that’s when she’ll go hell for leather I think. The despair at having lost, cessation of drama and attention, and the bleak future stretching ahead of her will lead to more and more drink. I genuinely don’t think she has any idea the danger her life is in right now if she doesn’t do something. Her liver could already be damaged.

To be fair, unless the person has practised in California , any advice would not really help her. What she need right now is a California attorney who specializes in divorce law. Anything else would just be a waste of time. She needs to get that $100 000 back from Gloria and find an attorney because tit's going to hit the fan real fast and real quick and she's right in its down path with no cover. That person knows about as much about California divorce law as any other attorney admitted in any other of the 49 states, maybe even less.

The comment about the fact that children should never know nor need to know if their father has visited sex workers is spot on.
Alice who paints herself as the best mother in the world thinks it totally appropriate for her kids and their classmates to believe this about Ioan. Even if Alice had proof of high class sex workers the judge is going to take a dim view of her broadcasting it on social media and exposing her children to it. She is going to be in more serious legal trouble than she could even dream of on August 2.
