Totally understand if it breaks a code etc if you reveal too much (if anything) but when you say things are much uglier than we can see, is that from Ioans side or Alice's?
In that, firstly, *is* there something Ioan is doing that is provoking Alice's meltdowns etc? Not that I for one minute think there is just cause for the wild nature of her reactions but whose side is making things ugly (or uglier)?
And do you think any of this will ever come out into the open? As in, will it come out in court papers etc and people will see what Ioan has had to deal with (or, indeed, Alice) that could sway the tide of opinion/stop the flying monkeys etc?
There is only one Stage of Alice - stuck in revenge mode.
He's chosen the least worst path of those open to him. His options are limited and there's no perfect way to extract himself from the marriage. People who want him to swoop in and rescue his girls have been watching too many movies. That would be kidnapping. And would ensure he doesn't get custody.
There's no scenario, at no point in a relationship with Alice, that he or their girls get out unscathed. And that's on Alice, not him.

I can answer that easily. Alice is uglier than we can see. It's a no brainer.
Not unless someone attends on August 2 and reports back. IG is private as we know.

Look at her history and alcohol is the issue.
Allegedly Ioan, who seems a kind man, was unsympathetic to her illness. When I’m ill my nearest and dearest are not unsympathetic.
However if I lie in bed with a hangover after a night of boozing they will call it for what it is!
Genuinely think her drinking was restricted during IVF, then little ones at home and then became a serious problem.
He worked away and her drinking increased. He did try to help and encourage her not to drink.
What’s fun and cute pre-kids is very different to grown up responsibility.

So who is going to pay the bills?
It's such a complex thing to tease apart. Did MH contribute to substance abuse or did the SA lead to MH? It becomes a chicken or egg issue and bottom line is, it all needs treatment. Most treatment programs are designed to support both but there are some highly specialized MISA (mentally ill substance abuse) programs that really emphasize the MH.

1. Dramatically claim someone has done something to her or claim something shocking about someone on social media.
2. Play victim. Fake ignorance or responsibility. Enjoy having ego pandered to by unquestioning people/enablers.
3. Get angry and defensive when questioned by people who read, think or know claim is a lie. Try to discredit.
4. When unable to defend lie, bad behaviour or detract refuse to comply with agreed procedures to resolve issues. Bury head in sand. Detract social media followers with something unrelated but showing a caring side.
Repeat to fade.

Well, they seem to love Bianca despite not being Welsh at all!She claims Ioan's family look down on her as she is not Welsh enough
Though her Scottish surname Wallace does originally mean Welshman/foreigner.
I know it’s not that simple
But Elsie is so young and I believe at least she will love having her dad back!
And I think she will adore Bianca.

He can adapt like millions of adults have to do. Why am I having to defend putting the children's welfare first? It's accepted Ioan had to flee, but not the kids?

Tattle doesn’t make these decisions. The courts do. They have far more information than we do and will be employing child specialists to see what the girls can handle. OF COURSE we would all love for Ioan to have 100 percent custody until Alice gets help. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always work that way. Ioan just taking the kids and running is called kidnapping in California. He’s asking for reunification - what more do you want? That’s pretty extreme and shows the PA has gotten so much worse than any of us have imagined. You’re certainly not the only one on here fighting for the kids. Everyone on here has the kids’ best interests at heart. We’ve been discussing this for months. But there are legal guidelines that have to be followed, particularly in such an ugly, contentious divorce. I wish it were that simple, but it’s not. We have due process here, so not everyone just gets to lie and tell a random story and get custody. I would say that’s why Ioan’s team has worked so damn hard on the TRO and PRO. That should make you feel a little better?
