Maybe the family know, the mums at school, your friends. That’s hurts enough just there. But envisage a life where the western world, on all forms of scocial media and the tabloids and tv discuss you as a ‘trope. The ‘trope’ being, you got dumped for the newer younger person. And at 50, you have to remake your life. Rethink all your expectations. And you LOVE this man. You love him. Love isn’t an ‘app’ that you delete. It’s embedded in your heart. You don’t just stop loving someone. And, you ask anyone who has been betrayed if when they fou out what was going on, did they just shrug, and the get on with their lives? No they didn’t. They lay on the floor and tried to find a way of just getting on their feet again. Let alone creating a new life without this person in it, who, you orbited. Now you have to lie to your kids, tell them stories to placate them to the appearance of the new woman. And walk around with a fake smile on your face, looking Nobel. Screw that. If you are angry then ROAR. Silence is for the coward.

Alice had a “fantastical’ emotional affair with MITH, so she’s in no position to judge!!!the sheer fact that they likely were friends in Oz (nothing wrong with that, he had female friends on set without divorcing Alice before) is a strong foundation to build via zoom/facetime etc. a strong enough romantic relationship in order to decide to go on a romantic trip together and then to move together if they pass the chemistry test (especially if she was moving to LA anyway). I know couples that do this even without meeting each other before, with the pandemic this is common.
Do I think it's smart when you have kids and a lunatic like Alice in the picture? I personally don't think so, and it's the one thing I think he didnt thought through (imo he should have send her over Xmas to Oz), but this doesnt mean that this is not how it happened. The "oh they met in France and then they moved together" storyline that Alice always sarcastically pushes is not the only scenario without cheating.
I personally believe that cheating did occur, even if just emotionally (which is hard to prevent), and that it gave him the pull to finally leave Alice, but it's not the only realistic scenario. And it slightly amuses me because by her own admission Alice had a facetime romance early on in the divorce, so she has to know that this is a possibility

My husband tells me he does not love me anymore and wants out, I would be helping him pack, life too short to let someone live rent free in your head.
But then as an adult, I have never surrendered my complete welfare to another person. I was taught to take care of myself. I enjoy the lifestyle I have with my husband because we both contribute to it as equal partners. We each earn our own funds and maintain our own interests.

‘Anger’ has now resulted in harassment so bad the law now has had to get involved. She still is not divorced. She’s ruined any chance of a future career. She’s ruining her childrens lives.
You know what we are all saying. Hell yeah I would have thrown all Ioans clothes into the garage, given him the middle finger, taken him to court to get a divorce, got my settlement then laugh at his bald patch in private with my mates. I’m not absolutely devoid of understanding why she’s fucking seething and I’m not saying I wouldn’t be, I just wouldn’t also set fire to MY OWN LIFE AND THAT OF MY KIDS
